Gritty but Good 12/9/2006

They honestly do have the best bacon. Food is pretty consistently good and craveable. We did have a problem with long, black, baked-in hairs on the nachos. It was takeout so we couldn't go back get a tongue lashing. I've never experienced the grittiness and attitude that is all the rage about this place unless you count the ubiqutous thin film of spooge on the tables and seats. more

Where I go to hide 5/17/2006

Here is another great place to go for insomniacs. Open 24, the old 5 Point Cafe is bursting with personality. Trust me, the fun doesn't stop at 2:00am, but the fun does slow down a bit as the place is overrun on the weekends by the club crowd kids. By 3:30am or the place is cleared out for the regulars and fun continues. My favorite visit was years ago. I was completely smashed, so as my friends continued to drink, I watched the movie "Dead Alive" without any sound. I love the wait staff there too! Ramona and Sheila rock. more

Greasy spoon + Liquor 10/11/2005

once you graduate from Beth's, this is the dive to go to. Prompt service, huge portions, all you can eat hashbrowns, and pretty high quality food. Craving breakfast for dinner, or any other time? Trying to kill your hangover with grease, coffee and bloody marys? This is the place. Plus, you get a view of the Space Needle in the men's bathroom. more

FIve Point Cafe 8/19/2005

Here's a great place to go where no one knows your name and no one really cares. They claim to cater to alcoholics and they really do. the staff are 'friendly' and not adversed to making fun of you from time to time. it doesnt sound like it but its actually a happy place to go. they have a great 24 hour breakfast and strong, strong drinks until 2am. Additionally the mens room urinal (hole in the floor) had a view of the space needle to entertain you as you mind your task. more
