Five Guys

This place is all about grease. The burgers are very tasty, they are not huge but have a nice taste. This is really a fast food establishment. It is kind of expanding quickly but this place does get it correct. I’ve been to some other Five Guys with bad service but it is always great here. more

This place makes some of greasiest food I’ve ever tasted. Even though it is clearly bad for your health the food tastes wonderful. I really love their burgers here. I usually get them with both cheese and bacon. If you are feeling hungry get some fries with t he burger. They are perfectly cooked in peanut oil. more

The Five Guys chain is growing rapidly. I used to be a bigger fan of this place. The service is really slow. It takes so long to place my order and half the time it is messed up when my food arrives. They usually get my burger, fries and/or beverage wrong. more

They just opened a location in Georgetown, and theres a big sign on the back (next to a lot of fire damage) that says there is a reward if you can give them information about whoever set the place on fire... I didn't LOVE the burger, but it wasn't so bad they needed to be burned down! I did, however, adore the French fries, i thought they were unbelievably delicious, esp with the seasoning. the hamburger? it was good, and all of that, but not the best ever. I think they would be a lot faster if they let people put their own toppings on... they have like 5 people at the toppings adding table back there... make a little fuddruckers style condiment bar, and things will go much faster. but, I would still go back... don't go if you have a peanut allergy... they have open bins of in shell peanuts, and people tend to throw the shells on the floor.... more

My brother-in-law introduced me to Five Guys and I love the place(s). Even though they're expanding, they seem to keep focused on doing a few things well. It's not a huge selection (burgers, hot dogs, fries, drinks), but it's not corporate blandness. Your burger is made fresh and with a wide array of fixings from which to select. Their fries are legendary. And you can nosh on peanuts while you wait. Hope you enjoy your Five Guys burger as much as I enjoy mine. more

Five Guys makes a good fast food burger and fries. Many locals love this place. I think the food is decent but it has never blown me away. I’ve had better burgers and fries in this area. For a fast food burger this is a great option but many restaurants and bars make a heartier and tastier burger. more

I like coming to this place every so often to get a hamburger and fries. I love how they use different types of potatoes for their fries everyday. The burgers are big and they have a wide variety of toppings for you to choose from to put in your burger. The free peanuts they give you is a nice to munch on while you wait for your order to cook. I just wish that this place was a little less fattening and greasy, but if you just eat here once in a while it shouldn't affect your health too much. more

Five Guys has an extremely limited menu....but when you want a burger and fries or a hotdog, there is no better place to go. Their burgers and hot dogs are done on a "grill" that gives them a back yard cookout kind of flavor. But the most amazing item is the french fries. They cook them in peanut oil, which gives them a taste like no other burger joint has. If you go with someone else, get a large bag to split, I promise you will not be happy with a small order! The physical location is small, but it is a short ride to the river to enjoy your food and a stellar view of the Potomac in Old Town! more

Five Guys has the most AMAZING burgers ever… consistently rated the best in Washington! The quality of the ingredients is unbelievable, and even the so-called “little burger” is huge! The french fries are fresh-cut, fried in peanut oil, and are so so so good. And, while you’re waiting, there’s plenty of peanuts… it’s so casual, it’s ok to shell on the floor. more
