The instructors, equipment, facilities, and staff (not the management, the staff) are wonderful. Atmosphere is relaxed and fun, but now there is a male manager, and a male trainer, and there are rumblings this gym might become co-ed. However, my problem is strictly with their unethical business practices when it comes to canceling due to relocation. I tried canceling in May with a copy of my apt. lease (out of state), never received confirmation so called in June and was told they wouldn't accept my lease because my new management hadn't signed my copy yet. So I faxed my employment contract. Never received confirmation that they received and honored the cancellation. In July, mailed a check for the $50 cancellation fee and thought it was over. Just started getting harassed by their collection agent saying my membership hasn't been canceled and I never paid cancellation fee. Both outright lies. Filed official complaint today through BBB. Hopeful for resolution. Don't trust this gym.
