Wonderful Pet Care 6/6/2008

We have been taking our pets to Fishers Veterinary Hospital for several years. Everyone there is so understanding, helpful, caring and kind. I always feel totally comfortable whenever we are there and know that our pets will get the best care possible. They provided our Shih Tzu (who had many health issues as he got older) with excellent care and always treated him like he was the only patient they had. This type of individualized service is almost unheard of today. They were absolutely wonderful when we had to make the decision to have him put down at the age of 17. So much care was taken to put us at ease during a very difficult time in our lives. Everything was explained to us ahead of time and we feel he was able to end his life with such peace and love. They truly love animals and we will continue to take all of our pets to them for veterinary care. I highly recommend them. more

clean and good 5/5/2006

I have visited Fishers Veterinary hospital along with my friend. My friend usually takes her puppy to this hospital. The hospital is so clean and it is well maintened. They take care of the puppy well and the staff is so cool. I was very much impressed by their services. It is easy to get the appointment. so no waiting time. They give you a reminder for the annual shots and appointment. They also have emergency service. I would suggest this hospital to all. more

We love our vet center 5/28/2005

We have had wonderful care for our 2 dogs at this center. The vets are patient and loving to our Lab, who is generally fearful. They have a clean, large waiting area. However, you don't spend much time waiting as the staff is quick to serve your needs. They give you honest answers and options for general care and feeding. We also had a surgery done on one of our dogs and they did wonderfully. Highly recommend any/all the vets and staff. PROS: Great staff; clean; professional CONS: Location a bit confusing to get to more

ER help 5/1/2005

I was house sitting a friends cocker spaniel when on a Sunday afternoon she became extremely ill. I called the #'s the vet listed on the voice mail if it was an emergency. The dr. was so kind he came in and met me at the vet's office and checked out the dog, and believe it or not the bill wasn't that expensive. A love of animals really showed at this establishment. more

Friendly staff and environment 4/5/2005

The staff there are very helpful and friendly. One time my cat had a reaction to the vaccine, which was Saturday night. THe vet on call called us tight away after our message was taken. He gave us advice and told us what to do. Our cat was fine then thanks to him. I have been very pleased with their services. Their cost was reasonable and they remain good record of out cats. They provide late evening hours and Saturday appointment, which makes it very convenient for us. more

  • Welcome to Fishers Veterinary Associates, including Fishers Veterinary Hospital, Carmel Veterinary Clinic, and Brookschool Road Veterinary Clinic. Fishers Veterinary Hospital was opened by Dr. David Brown in 1979. The Carmel Clinic was opened a year later. In 1988, the Fishers hospital moved into a new facility on Allisonville Road north of 116th Street, and in 2002, the Brookschool Road clinic opened to serve the needs of the fast-growing east side of Fishers and Indianapolis' Geist area. As our practice has grown with the area, we continue to provide the compassionate care and quality medicine and surgery that our patients deserve. Our commitment to strengthening and nurturing the deep bonds that people have with their pets is also reflected in the attention we give your pet. We offer your pets the same level of care we would want (and actually do give) our own pets. Our facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic, anesthetic, and critical care equipment. We have received the highest level of accreditation offered to member hospitals by the American Animal Hospital Association, and have been named a "best veterinarian" by Indianapolis Monthly. Excellence in care starts with our doctors. Our professional veterinary staff is among the finest in Indiana. In addition to an emphasis on rigorous continuing education, the doctors share a desire to consistently deliver gentle and caring service to you and your pet. Each veterinarian knows that your trust can only be earned by combining outstanding medicine with exquisite in-hospital care for your pet. Likewise, our staff is experienced, capable, and cares deeply about the welfare of you and your pet. They have the ability to provide the advice you need to prevent problems in your pet throughout his or her life, help in times of your pet's illness, and help guide you through the later years of your pet's life. Please one of our offices if we can be of service to you.
