I called to make an appointment over the weekend for Tuesday at 9am. I was sitting at my warehouse at 9:15. . .then 9:30. I called and asked where the movers were at. No one knew, but the receptionist said she would call the boss, Mike, and call me right back. Then came 10. . . .11. . . .12. No phone call. I called again making it clear we had to be out of our warehouse, so this piano needed to be moved, not to mention that my husband has back problems and I am 6 months pregnant! So they said they would resolve this and wanted to reschedule. They were having ""employee problems."" Now it's obvious that it's the owners, not the employees that are the issue. My husband ended up moving our UPRIGHT piano into our truck and into our garage because we had to be out. We called Mike afterward and he said he could move it up the stairs in the house on Thursday. Said they'd call me again to set up a time. The receptionist had the nerve to say, ""I promise someone will call you before tomorrow."". . . .it's now 3pm on Thursday. Still haven't heard from them. I have never encountered such a terrible moving company before. We have moved 5 times in the past 6 years with the military. NEVER USE FISCHER PIANO MOVING COMPANY. They wanted to charge $185 plus $35 for stairs for an upright when I could get the same exact move for $185 TOTAL from Rockley's. Should've just gone with Rockley's. Now we are going to need a mover anyway, even after all the trouble we went through. We are livid.
