I was very pleased with the way everything was handled, from start to finish. Tony, the owner, gave me an accurate cost estimate for the move, and corresponded with me per e-mail regarding some changes at my end, in a very prompt manner. This move involved moving from one 2 Bedroom Apt to another. The movers even called me because they were going to be 10 minutes late because of traffic! Chris + Mike did a fantastic job handling my stuff, including some very fragile large scale paintings. At the destination they even placed all boxes in the exact rooms I wanted. They worked very hard + nothing was damaged or broken. I will recommend these people to anyone I know in my area !!! more

This was a move that my daughter made from an apartment with a roommate to an apartment of her own. First of all, the owner, Tony, is the person who answers the phone, and he is friendly and professional. Our movers were Ryan and Chris. They arrived at the expected time. They were very careful with my daughter's belongings, yet worked very quickly at the same time. We were amazed at the amount and weight of each load that they could each carry down two flights of winding stairs! And never a complaint! She has a lot of stuff, but the whole move took only 3 hours.\r They charged $94 an hour, starting when they arrived and ending when they left the new place. No mileage charges. We checked prices with other companies, and disagree that they are more expensive. We feel that it was well worth the $282, plus tips. By the way, please tip your movers. Mike and Justin were our movers from Fisher Moving, and they were wonderful. They worked constantly for hours, were so obliging re our need to move belongings to several destinations (including the dump), were very professional and had great attitudes, and were so careful with some very fragile and awkward pieces. I recently used Fisher Moving and was very impressed with them. I have a large amount of fragile, sentimental items and was worried about breakage. They carefully packed everything and moved it to our new home without 1 broken item! They didn't take forever and were actually courteous! I found this company in the yellow pages. I move alot and have had many terrible moving companies. So I wasn't getting my hopes up for excellence. But that is exactly what I received ""Excellence"". First of all they were early ""almost unheard of in my experience"". They had all the equipment needed for the job. The movers were very proffessional and friendly not to mention very experienced.They stretch filmed all my wood and upholstery and were very careful when handeling it. Not a scratch on any wall or any piece of furniture. They were a little more expensive then some of the other movers I contacted. But worth every Penny! Thanks Fisher Moving!
