I love this place. The food is so good for the price. The fish is imported daily from all over. This is one of my favorite places in Birmingham for food because it is just so good and not a bad price. The location is great too. The meals are filling. The gumbo is pretty good and I'd recommend that everyone try it out. more

Fish Market Restaurant 4/5/2006

I love this Fish Market Restaurant. There is nothing like this seafood restaurant anywhere! I promise. The flounder is great They have an extensive menu, and I like the way they explain the menu. I have eaten here several times, and I enjoy it every time. They have hush puppies that are simply marvelous. I love this restaurant so much it is getting a four from me. No one gets a 5 from me unless they are the best. While this restaurant is great and outstanding, I don't consider it the best because there is a weird "smell" in there I don't like. Don't ask about it; but i am not making it up. LOL more

Great place for fresh seafood! 4/3/2006

If you are looking for fresh seafood, look no further! This place has a wide variety of seafood, and always cooks it fresh. Not only that, but you usually get a side or two with your order, and I highly recommend the hush puppies: very good! I have heard other people say that it smells bad inside the resteraunt. I never noticed any smell worse than what you would expect from a place that has fresh seafood. It was a little dirty inside the resteraunt (the chairs and tables, not the kitchens) when I went once, but not enough for me to be bothered by it. more

Fish Market Restaurant 3/20/2006

Fresh seafood cooked to order. The Fish Market is clean, the food is excellent and the employees are friendly. The flounder is my favorite and any way they prepare it, it is delicious. They must have a secret ingredient in their tarter sauce I don't usually add any sauce to my fish but the tarter sauce at the Fish Market is good enough to eat with a spoon. My grandkids will request this Restaurant over McDonald's when they want fish. Try it and you will like it. They also have chicken fingers as good as the fish. more
