These guys are scam artists! Stay away, they charged me $150 for a 5 minute service call and didn't even fix the problem.

Great work, great people! 5/4/2009

Derek from Fischer Plumbing did a superb job in cleaning out two drain lines at our house. In the 8 years we have live in this house, I would rate him the overall best person we have had here to work in our home. I'll be calling Fischer Plumbing the next time I need plumbing services. Good: The prompt and fine service of Fischers employees!. Other: I'm sorry to say that I did not catch his name, but he was a very nice young man. He was able to come in, fix the clogged kitchen drain pipe, put the pipe back together that I had taken apart and leave the area tidy and all was done very quickly. New water heater install 2/11/2009

Barry was on time an efficient in completing the task. He explained the process and what had to be done and why the current installation of the old heater had to be revised to meet code. He cleaned up when he was finished and briefed me on how to best operate the new unit for optimum life and service. I am very proud of how the new unit looks and feel comfortable that I received optimum value for my dollar with my new energy efficient heating unit. The PSE rebate will help to pay the slightly higher cost of the added insulation model which will pay back quickly with the reduced energy expended. Tom in Issaquah. more

I used Fischer Plumbing for almost 14 years as a property manager in Fremont. I always found them to be prompt, excellent and competitive. As a homeowner, I continue to call them. They installed my water heater and gave me an estimate on some work I may have done. These guys really are the best in the business and I would not hesitate to recommend them. more

I always called Fischer Plumbing when I managed rental property for 14 years in Fremont. They were always prompt, competitive and produced high quality work. I did not have even one problem in all those years. As a homeowner I used them to install my new water heater and to give me an estimate on some work. I know that I can trust them to do the best work. more

BEWARE! Their oversight led to a huge flood! 10/1/2008

Watch out! This company's owner will not take any accountability for their mistakes and will leave you stranded with their mess! What should have been a standard procedure was mishandled and now, the house is inhabitable for 3-4 weeks during construction. The wrong thing was fixed and when drainage started to occur, it went in the house instead of out and it exploded in the top level with "black water" flooding the floors, ceilings, etc. The owner left us to fend for ourselves and took no responsibility! more

So far, so amazing... 5/26/2007

Derek came by on a holiday, and made an assessment of the problem which turned out to be a non-emergency. He arranged to have someone come out on another day to avoid overtime charges, AND didn't charge me for the visit. Hopefully the repair work will be just as stellar as Derek. more

Fischer Plumbing 1/25/2007

We called Fischer Plumbing to fix a problem with our toilet. They fixed the immediate problem but created a new one. With a call-back, they were unable to repair the problem. So the toilet kept running until we called The Plumbing Joint to fix it, which they did easily. more

Quick and friendly 9/22/2006

I chose Fischer over at least a half-dozen other plumbers (ones without glossy photos in the phone book) due to their hourly rate, location and capability. The job to be done was to unclog a sewer drain and they did that successfully. We received a lot of good information from the personable and experienced technician and ended up having him mark the line locations for a very reasonable additional fee. (Marking the lines was necessary in order to gather bids to replace the sewer lines). We ended up not going with Fischer for sewer line replacement due to cost, but they were second choice of the four bids we received (the top bid just couldn't be beat, and the job went very well). more

On TIme and Did a Great Job 8/18/2006

When my counter installer decided that he would not be willing to install the new faucet (one only!) although it was part of the contract, I had to find a plumber in a hurry, as we had already been washing dishes in the tub for 2 weeks. We had a drain unblocked by Fischer in the past and had been impressed by the promptness and efficiency then. I called and was given a phone estimate and a date for install. Steve arrived on time, did the work and problem solved some of the old plumbing issues in a space saving, efficient way. It took the estimated time and everything works beautifully. more

Toilets 8/16/2006

I bought a toilet here so that I’d have the top of the line toilet in the world. It was crazy because the workers were Australian, and they were making fun of how our toilets spin in one direction and theirs spin in another. So I told them to find me the greatest toilet, and they did, I just love the way it warms up in the cold winter. more

Full service company with full service prices 8/16/2005

When I found out the hard way that the side sewer on my 97-year old house hadn't been repaired in 80 years and was 30 years overdue for replacement, I started gathering bids. I don't know how many of you have tried to get bids from plumbers, but let me tell you, it's pretty amazing how many plumbers don't bend over backwards to make a good impression, by, say, responding to "hey, I'd like a bid for your business" voicemails. Maybe I have a bad voice. Anyway, Fischer responded quickly and professionally and gave me a reasonable bid. I got a much better bid from another guy, but not to surprisingly, he flaked out, so Fischer got my business. I actually complicated matters somewhat by having them dig out a section of my basement and line the hole with concrete, for a sunken theatre. There were a few scheduling miscommunications, but by and large, they did a good job. more
