bad customer services 1/24/2012

December 27, i put $35 in their atm on Arlington and Brownsville rd. The doors never stop opening and closing so I pushed the cancel button. Eventually it gave me back my card but no money. After standing there for a few minutes I called the south side office and the lady told me come down and talk to the manager. I did that and he, told me they will look into it. On the 28th, I got a call saying, they were going to give me the money while it was being investigating. By friday, Ms. Janet called me and said, it was unfounded. When they checked the money it wasn't over and they were taking the $35 back out of my account. I asked her did they check the camera because I know I was on there. She said, she would look into it and get back with me. So by Jan 5th, Ms. Janet called me back and there sticking to their orinigal decision. We talked about me pressing charges again. She told me to go to Mt. Oliver police department and file charges. That was the only way I can get a copy of tape. She informed me that I wasn't allowed to have a copy but they can get it for the magisterial. So I went to Mt. Oliver's police station and talked to an officer Tony. I gave him the same story as above and he said, he would called the bank and get back with me the next day if not that evening. Fastforwarding, to the week of the 17th, I received a call from officers Tony and he told me to call the bank's customer services office and gave me the number. When I talked to the lady she informed me about not being able to get the tape and that the tape will not show my transaction. I told her, it will at least show I was there; because even after I got back in the car to call the bank that day, I still sat there while I called the south side bank. I parked infront of the atm. She was going to send me a complaint form but called be back and asked me did I have a receipt. I told her again, I never got past the doors opening and closing, repeatingly. So no she couldn't send that form but I could go to the magisterial. So I called Officer Tony back and told him what the lady told me. So he said, he would call the bank and see about getting the tape. Now its Jan 24th and officer Tony called me and tells me he talked to Christy from the bank and she said, there is nothing on there. He also said,This is a civil matter and he can't help me. There is nothing criminal here. So I told him I still need a police report. He said, give him a couple of days. I have not gotten nothing in wrting from 1st National Bank not even about the money they gave while they were investigating the situation. I can't get the information of who services the machines and how many times it has been services. Nor will they give me name of the company that checks the atm. I used their product and now they just want me to take a loss. ""It may have came out when someone else used the machine."" they say. Oh ok but how is that my fault. Why should I have to take a lost. I have been at this bank since 1999 I haven't had alot of negative balances in all this time; and normally (if so) that got paid the same day or the next day. There hasn't been anything else go wrong with my account in all these years. And this is the loyalty they show their customers. I'm really at a lost because it $78 to file at the magisterial and then I still have to get a lawyer to get copy of tape, service information and who checked the money. Beware of who you bank with. more
