alignment shop cant figure out how to do an alignment 2/17/2018

I'm a mechanic who works at a dealership. I, like lots of other mechanics, do not like working on my own car. To save money I replaced my struts myself. I purchased a lifetime alignment from Firestone so that I wouldn't have to always go to my shop on my days off, after i install parts to do my alignment. Evidently i should. After getting the alignment done my steering wheel was pointing about 15 degrees to the right when the vehicle was driving straight. Complete rookie mistake.. you have to set the steering wheel straight before you set the wheels straight. I had to fix that myself, only adjusted the front 2 wheels. Fast forward about a month, I just did a brake inspection on my car, and guess what? They left one of the lock nuts loose for the adjustment of toe in the rear.. this nut keeps it from adjusting itself while I'm driving. If I hadn't have noticed, it could have gotten to the point where it fell apart. Looking closely at it, I can tell the wheel is pointing out, or toed out. Alignment shop can't even do alignments. I would never take my car here again, for anything, nor would i suggest this "shop" to anyone else. more

Fishing 9/25/2017

this store is like all the rest, when you need a tire repair or replacement they go under the hood without permission and look for possible revenue by telling you. you have a problem or you air filter needs replacing !!! Firestone is a good tire but a garbage service company... in future I will use discount tire who only concentrate on tires and don't go fishing for extra business... more

Firestone on Rainier 8/13/2006

Although Budd & Company is my tried and true mechanic - I use Firestone for tires, oil changes, and alignments. (Their lifetime alignment is a great deal! It pays for itself after the second alignment). I love the staff here. They're always upbeat, helpful, and funny. They make suggestions but are never pushy about repairs. Firestone offers lots of coupon deals. Check your junk mail and your Safeway receipts. You can almost always get an oil change for less than $20. I always make an appointment and plan to leave my truck there for the day. Wait times can be a bummer, and there's not a lot to see or do close by. more

Good place 12/24/2005

Got my tires replaced here, and I'd say that their prices are average, and the staff is quite friendly. However they took over 2 hours and I had absolutely nothing to do instead of watch cars drive by. But oh well thats okay. I'd probably go to costco next time beacuse they are cheaper. more
