I called and ordered 2 CD's from Firebird Arts and Music on Saturday morning and got them this morning! While I was on the phone with Teri Lee I asked if she still sells cool ties like I have seen in her booth at different events. She said yes so I asked her to toss them on the order too. I feelbetter already! It is hot and going to be hotter still this week but I am covered now thanks to Firebird! Thank you Teri Lee! more

I ordered a 1/6 scale banjo on 6/3 and on 6/6 Teri Lee took $19.75 from my account. I needed the banjo as part of a birthday gift to be given on 6/19, so there was plenty of time for it to arrive. On 6/13, I still had not received it and sent an email to Teri Lee. Teri sent me this response the following day: ""I've only got the larger banjo in stock--the computer think we have several of the smaller one in stock. I've got some more smaller one coming in from the supplier, but if time is an issue would the larger one be ok?""\r \r I had no idea what size banjo she was talking about, so I asked her for the size and told her I needed to have it delivered by Federal Express. I also asked her why she took the money from my account if she didn't have the banjo in stock and why she didn't notify me that there was a problem. \r \r Teri's response was, ""I'll go ahead and cancel the order."" \r \r Of course, now it is too late to find another banjo.\r \r I have never dealt with anyone so unprofessional. Do not waste your time or money. \r more

I order a 1/6 scale white horse that cost $25.75 on 2/28/11. They said it would be delivered in 7 days. It has been 69 days and still no horse. I called about 5 times about this problem and they keep given me the run around. Now they will not even return my calls. more

Firebird Arts and Music of Oregon - This company is in the habit of ripping off the public NEVER, NEVER, NEVER -Order 0r Do any business with this company. I ordered three Black 1:6 Saddles & Paid for them Dec.12 2009. I had agreed to wait until February to receive them. After many e-mails & phone calls with NO answer, I finally got 1 e-mail on June 6, 2010 from Teri Lee I've mentioned life has been complicated. Here's the status. The saddles that I have are slightly different than the last batch, the fenders (where the stirrups attach) have a rivet rather than a loop like the previous ones. I've been trying to figure out a nice looking way to add the stirrups, and trying to get some of the previous style--the supplier is trying to track the down, so far without any luck. If I can't work out the technical bugs by the end of this week, I'll refund the total amount of the order. Teri I answered on June 7. Thanks for the update. I hope you can get something as I really need the saddles. Please send me a picture of a saddle and stirrups I may have a solution. Pat Now August 2010. No Saddles, No Refund, No calls or E-mails. I first found First Bird Arts at the Portland Highland Games abour 7 years ago and have bought from the store both there, at the Shrewsbury Renaisance Pleasure Faire and on Line. I have always received great service when shopping on line, as long as the item is in stock. Sometimes merchants find themselves at the mercy of their suppliers, shippers and most recently the weather. I placed a Christmas order on the 15th of December for an item that turn out was out of stock. I spoke with Teri Lee to see if she was going to be able to send it our or not in time. By the time the shipment arrived in Portland so did the snow. Teri Lee tracked her shipment online and called the shipper and was told it was on a truck and would be delivered to her business three days in a row so she stayed at her shop until 9:00 PM waiting to receive the boxes so she could fulfil orders to her customers. I would say that putting her customers desire above her own safety shows great customer service. I, for one, will continue to shop this local business! Pros: Prompt Service, Easy to use Web Site, Great Products and Prices Cons: one that I have found so far more
