AWESOME! 2/1/2004

My friends and I went to Fire & Ice this past Saturday and our experience was wonderful. They are trying a new feel on the weekends with low lighting and a DJ so they were understaffed, but made a point to let us know the situation and made sure we were not ignored. Jason and Joel were so friendly and attentive. The food was great too, I had the mini tuna sandwiches and I have never had a better sandwich. I loved the flavor of the basil and tomatoes combined with the fresh fish and flaky roll. No complaints here! I think this place will only get better. Pros: Late nite Bar Menu, fairly priced, great drinks more

hip 1/1/2004

new to seattle, i wondered upon Fire & Ice the other night, and what a treat! Rarely can you find food and service in one unpretentious package. I had the Ahi Tuna which was outstanding. My date had the Duck, both of which the presentation was superb. The ambiance leaves you feeling as if you were in New York, not Seattle. What a breath of fresh air. Pros: value of food, ambiance, service/wine list Cons: parking more

Disappointing 10/13/2003

I was so excited to try this new restaurant. I had heard great things about the place. And the meal started off quite promising despite the boring menu (chicken, pasta, tenderloin, ahi---where's the magic?): the appetizers were interesting--especially the grilled the romaine salad. But the meal itself was a) cold, b) served up in small portions, c) overcooked. For the price, I doubt I'll be back. There are too many other places to try in Belltown that offer a interesting, warm meal worth the price. more
