Classic Italian dishes made to awake all your taste buds! 10/13/2007

Last night I had the absolute pleasure of dinning at FIORINI, which I would describe as the new classic Italian jewel of midtown. Offering a very well thought out balance of food and ambiance, FIORINI to me seems to put lots of thought into their food and the way it?s made. While reading their menu, I found myself feeling very puzzled not knowing what to order. I felt as if the chef read my mind and made a menu magically appear.\r I am a concierge in a 4 star 4 diamond Hotel and am particularly selective about my dining experience. The service was superb, since our waiter was attentive enough through the evening and also gave us the proper amount of space to chat during a night out with my mother and sister. The menu was very simple and complex all at once (in a very positive way). The menu was not too long and yet it was not limited in the least bit?serving everything from homemade insalata caprese, some gorgeous grilled shrimp with tuscan beans to Vitello alla Milanese(made the way only an Italian import like Chef Erminio could make), Paparedella with ragu di vitello and a risotto to die for. Saving the best for last?all the desserts are also made by the chef and he puts all his heart into it. I don?t think I ever tasted such good ricotta cheesecake in my life and I have done my fair share of research?for scientific purposes only?of course! ;)\r \r Anyway, I HIGHLY recommend it and only hope that your experience is as good or better than mine. Enjoy!\r Pros: Very versatile?good for families as well as a romantic dinner Cons: Just opened so reservations are a must more

great and professional service 9/27/2007

I was there two days ago for dinner with my wife and a couple of friends and was an amazing experience. The italian waiter\r was so professional and elegante at the same time , the service out of this world . We ask a lot of questions about the\r menu also for recomendations and it was like we were best \r friends with him. The food was very good special the polipo and the shrimp with beans appetizers . Highly recommended\r to any occasion. Cons: great service and food more
