Fiddler's Bistro

Ever find a place you like so much you go there every week and you wish you could keep it a secret? Well this is one of those places for us. But reality dictates that the better they do the longer they will stick around. So it is with pleasure ??and some reservation ? that I write this review. First off I have to say that any cafe with super clean tables, cloth napkins, flatware that has some heft (instead of that cheap bent-up junk most places give you), and orange juice squeezed fresh on the premises every day already gets major points in my book. But Cafe Fiddlers has much more than that ? the food is great, the service is fast and super friendly, they are clean, and the prices are absolutely affordable. There, I did it. Just save me a table. more

Like the other reviewers, my husband and I have passed by this place a million times but never gone in. Last night, after being turned off by the long waits at the Grove, we decided to finally try it out. We were not disappointed! The cafe is quite cute inside (check out the outdoor patio in the back), the service was amazing (the owner waited on us), and the food is delicious! There were plenty of vegetarian options for my mom (she had the Greek eggs and loved them), my husband had the chicken kabob and I had the broiled trout (which I definitely recommend). They were so great about taking our various food restrictions seriously and since everything is cooked only to order this is not a problem. The only drawback I could find was that the dessert menu didn?t sound that exciting. But, we were so satisfied with our meals we didn?t really need dessert anyway. You wouldn't think that some of the best food in town would come at such a great price, but at Fiddler's they take care of you and take alot of pride in what they're serving you. The owners are incredibly hospitable. While the atmosphere of a motel's restaurant might not be the most date-friendly place, your date might laud you for having made an economical choice for some food that could've come straight out of a five star restaurant's kitchen. The gorgonzola mash potatoes are not to be missed, nor the delightful brunch items. more

I've driven by this place a thousand times and not given it a look. We ate dinner there the other night and found the food to be just wonderful. The owner and his brother run it. The food is mediterranean and home grown cafe. It looks like a coffee shop but it is a whole lot more. Pros: Great food, Good prices, Very nice staff Cons: decore is so so more
