I love coming to felipe's! Hands down, one of the best burritos in the city, not to mention incredibly cheap! If you are in the square during the week around lunch time, this plac...

Pricing definitely reflects quality, though most people will eat just about anything to save a dollar. Pros: Pricing, fast service Cons: quality, not the friendliest

Late night dining in Harvard Square has finally arrived 10/31/2006

I thank whoever decided to open Felipe's in Harvard Square. Not only is this place open after midnight but they actually serve edible food. The food served here is Tex-Mex and includes the usual potpourri of tacos, burritos, quesadillas, etc. Prices are in line with what you would expect at a fast food establishment. Customer service is not friendly but very efficient. There is on site seating available but not much ambiance-this is a fast food joint of sorts after all. more

great quesadillas 5/17/2006

Felipe's may be considered Anna's competition, but it hardly is since the two are far enough apart to have their own market. Still, each has their standout, and my favorite at Felipe's is the quesadillas. The grilled veggies are fresh and flavorful, and they always make sure to get an assortment of all types (mmm, sweet potato!). At lunch time or late night, this place can get packed though, so don't go if you mind standing to eat! more

Felipe's so much better then Anna's 5/16/2006

And all of that is contributed to the salsa bar which makes that place ooooh so much better. more

good, but there's better... 4/25/2006

food is tasty, but can vary greatly. if it's really busy, you'll definitely get sub par food/ service. once i got rice that was hard b/c it wasn't fully cooked. the beef has been medium to medium rare (which i personally don't mind). burritos are the smallest by far b/n anna's and boca grande. a little bit more than anna's in cost and about the same price as boca grande (even though the burrito is literally half the size). still, a good late night or quick snack option in you're in the square. what to watch out for: they might overcharge. i once sent in a friend to order for me while i waited in the car double parked. they were able to tell that she had never been there before b/c she was a little confused when ordering. when she asked for a few extra things (which they don't normally charge for like extra celantro), they doubled the cost of the burrito. more

great quesadillas and burritos 9/13/2005

If you want fast-food Mexican style, go to Felipe's. You can get a decent sized quesadilla or burrito for about $3. I heard that the tacos weren't that great. The way the restaurant works is that you go on a line and someone behind the counter will guide you thorough as they make the burrito right in front of you. The food tastes great. I go there often to meet friends. It is a big vibrant community with Mexican food. more

Who doesn't love Felipe's 9/3/2005

It's a great place to eat. The prices are dirt cheap. You can get a full meal for less than $5 and that's important to a college student. Everyone from Harvard goes to Felipe's. It's open till 3am so it's very convenient to head to it after the dining halls close. My favorite here is the grilled chicken quesadilla. They make everything hot and right in front of your face. It's delicious. I highly recommend it. more
