I have been waiting two days for an important package that was to be delivered on Wednesday. It is now Friday night. Ten days and counting since it was shipped from CA . We had 3"" of snow in Dutchess County, NY yesterday where my package has been sitting for the last 48 plus hours. The roads have been more than fine all this time, but their tracking cited bad weather. There was no snow on the streets at all. I say it was laziness and incompetence. They have your money, and just don't care what happens after that. I called the Newburgh office and could not speak with a real person. I called the national Fedex hotline, and spoke to a fellow who has never set foot in the US who told me that I could pick up the package tomorrow (Saturday). I asked him why they could not deliver the package on Saturday, and he told me that I did not pay for Saturday delivery. When I told him that the package would not have to be delivered on Saturday, if they had delivered it on Thursday when it was scheduled, he apologized, and said that the matter was beyond his control. Customer service with this company is the worst possible. I think that the entire company stinks, and that the Fedex Newburgh people are a bunch of lazy, incompetent jerks.
