Well we heard the Friday nite Fish Fry was good so we tried it. We each had as serving of the fish and a soft drink each. Imagine our shock when the bill came and it was $38.and change with tax!!!( mind you it was just 2 of us.) So long story short we won't be going for fish fry there anymore. That was our dining out budget for the month in one night! That's not saying we won't eat there again, we just won't be ordering the fish. The food is good there but don't eat there as often since they removed the wall between the bar and dining room. The bar crowd is too rowdy to enjoy a nice quiet meal. We don't eat out that often anymore because only one of us is working right now so we try to find places to eat where we can actually enjoy the peace and quiet. Sadly The Featherbone has lost that ambiance somewhere along the way. The service is good and we've known the owners a very long time so we will stop in there once in a while but not as often as we used to, and not as often as we'd like.
