Fashion Shack

Sold some items here - was a little disappointed in the money I got back. HOWEVER, what do people expect to get back? \r \r It's not like the store can buy your shirts for $5 and sell for a reasonable price then? As a customer I absolutely love this store. Plenty of selected, INCREDIBLY cheap. Lot's of diverse styles, sizes, and brands. I recommend it to all of my bargain shopping friends. Haven't paid more than $6 for a dress there. Got a pair of colored, like-new, Old Navy skinny jeans for $5. SCORE! more

i went here the other day to take some cloths there i sold them 2 items vauled over 500.00. i button up shirt and a timberland toggle wool jacket that was 399.99 last year but i have out grown it . i came back to the offer of 21.00 store credit are you kidding me. i wasnt expeting a are and a leg for it but 21,00 . tht was store credit. 15.00 was the cash vaule. i think they need someone with more experience valuing cloths in my opion more

I was very dissapointed with the Fashion Shack. ...my friend and i had both taken clothing to this store to sell, and ended up walking out with ever piece we had, because the price they wanted to give us for our clothing was shockingly low... my clothing was top of the line,name brand clothes, such as tommy hilfiger, gap, old navy, ashley stewart, LL Bean, ect, most of it in mint condition, were talking womens jeans, childrens coats, ect, and for aproxmitaly 16 items I was offered the whopping price of $20.00....needless to say I did not leave any items, neigther did my friend , nor the friend whose clothing she had brought along, eigther.... my friends were offered under $1.25 per piece of clothing, and some of it, less then $1.00...I can assure you that I will never step back in this store to sell clothing again. more

Ok, so I recently took some of my old clothes to Fashion Shack. I had about 3 bags of old jackets, jeans, and shirts. I let the lady look through my bags, and checked out the store. The store is pretty nice and well organized, and the clothes are great too. Especially the dresses!\r \r So I came back and the lady gave me a piece of paper & cash for my clothes. I got $22.75. I was a little disappointed, since probably out of all those clothes each shirt was like $20, and my clothes were about a year or so old. (Even Plato's Closet paid more for my clothes!)\r \r I understand that's how the business works, & you can't pay much for the clothing, but I was still disappointed. It seemed like everything they paid for was a quarter an item. I would be fine with about $5 a shirt and $10 for jeans. Overall, Fashion Shack is an amazing store, but I wouldn't recommend selling your old gently used clothes. Try Ebay! In my business I must frequent many venues in order to cater to many diverse clients. I have found that 10 out of 10 times my clients are more satisfied with the merchandise I have select from The Fashion Shack.\r This store fits many styles and tastes and to come out without a purchase is mind-baffling to me! \r You will be added to the frequent customer list and this keeps you informed, by receiving a phone call or flyer, prior to any sales as well as updated on what the next shipment of clothing may consist of.\r The associates are always friendly and are willing to help upon request.\r Like any another place of business or even newly purchased device you want to buy.....you must read procedures first and if you still do not understand......ASK! more

This is my absolutely my favorite store of all time (Greenville and Greenwood stores) but you need to know what the return policies are. This is definitely an outlet type store offering name brand clothing at greatly reduced prices. There are different policies depending on what you are purchasing. \r Love your catalogs but just can't buy all the stuff your love in them? Then check out Fashion Shack. Victoria's Secret, LImited, Speigel, JC Penney and more, samples that never made it to market. Ever wonder what happens to items you return from the catalog? Fashion Shack buys it and offers it at reduced cost. Some items are in perfect condition, some not, so be sure to check. Sizing may be off, be sure to try on. Shoes, purses, men's clothing, some household but lots of ladies stuff! Even children's. Be sure you have lots of time, this is a huge store with lots of stuff to look at! more

Just before Christmas, my spouse purchased a wool blazer for me as a gift. The label on this blazer clearly states that it is an XXL, which is my size. The blazer was beautiful but just would not fit. With the tags and labels still on the item, my spouse returned the jacket to the store, Dec. 26th. Instead of being given store credit, we were told by the manager that unless the exact jacket was found in a larger size there would be no exchange. This would have been acceptable, if it were possible. None of these particular Haggar Brand jackets were left in the store. We would have gladly accepted store credit but were denied, even with our receipt. We do not intend to spend our dollars in this store any longer, this store is losing business by the day. Cons: Totally unfair return policy, this business must be going under and needs the revenue more
