Our A/C decided to quit on us one recent hot Sunday. My husband tried to determine with the help of advice from some friends what might be the problem. He called the company who had originally serviced our A/C, and they said they could come out the next morning (had no one on call that Sunday), and would charge $75 just to determine what was wrong with it. One of my husband's friends recommended that he call Farnell. They had a serviceman on call that Sunday, and were more than happy to come out; they do charge a fee for after hours services, so my husband decided we could wait til morning (it was nice to know they were there, though!) They came first thing Monday morning, and in less than 30 minutes, my A/C was cooling my house again. I was very pleased with their prompt response, and that they only charged for parts was great, too; I didn't have to pay them just to tell me what was wrong! I will definitely call them again if I need help with heating or A/C!
