Editorial review from Citysearch 8/5/2016

I have a 10 year old fear aggressive kitty who gets wild when he has to go to the vet. I took him to one vet who called him a feral cat and didn't even offer the option of sedating him to examine him. The jerk acted like I brought a tiger in. In all fairness to my cat, all he did was hiss at that point. The doctor wouldn't even touch him.\r He was losing weight and vomiting and I needed help.\r I called Farmingdale Dog and Cat Clinic because they were recommended by AlleyCats Feral Cat website. They know how to deal with fractious patients. Dr. Spar is wonderful. Her demeanor is calm and understanding and she really wants the best for your pet. \r She and her wonderful vet tech tried to examine him without sedation because is would be safer for him but he wasn't having it. I felt confident leaving him for a couple of hours for Dr. Spar to put him to sleep to examine him, get blood, urine, and clip those nasty nails.\r Luckily tests were fine, so we are going the food change route and Pepcid to start. They are really wonderful and caring over there, unlike a lot of the places who are just in it for the money nowadays. more
