Many local restaurants seem to go to Faragallis to provide us with our pre-meal bread and we know why. They have a delicious italian bread that is soft and comforting in addition to a good selection of rolls and baguettes. We're thrilled that we can walk to a neighborhood place and get the same quality bread we're getting at a restaurant for our own home cooked meals. I'd rather spend $2.50 at Faragalli's than $1 at Acme anyday. The only catch is the strange hours. I swear they vary by the day, but we live nearby so we're not going out of our way if they turn out to be close.
Pros: Best bread in Philly
Cons: Wierd hours
