After a warm greeting and nearly 5 minutes of hype and enthusiasm from the hostess about the restaurant background and the great food experience we were about to have ? our ?reality? rating is a very disappointing 1 out of 5 stars. Entrees: Georgia Chopped Pork, Rib Tips, and two Regular Ribs ?4-bone? dinners. Complaints: 1) All food that should have been hot was either cold or lukewarm. 2) The Rib Tips arrived as a very unappealing pile of bones, fat and grizzle ? not the ""tender, bite-sized pieces"" as described in the menu ? and were sent back and replaced with a 4-bone dinner. 3) All of the Ribs (3 dinners) were undercooked, fatty and tough. 4) All of the corn cobs were grossly water-logged and tough. 5) One guest ordered the Wilbur Beans, but said they tasted ?nasty? ? sour or spoiled. The only reason we didn?t rate this visit a total zero is because we felt sorry for our server, who seemed genuinely embarrassed and apologetic about the food. Recommendation: Cut down on the hype and pay more attention to delivering a higher quality food product ? if you want to bring your customers back.
Pros: Pros: Server seemed genuinely apologetic about food quality.
Cons: Cons: Many, read details.
