i took my daughter there for her birthday thinking it was going to be a great time well for as much money as it cost it should have been but sad to say not even close. they lost not only her cake that i bought they also lost some of her gifts .a lot of the games were broke and when you brought it to the attention to the worker they did not one thing about it but act like they needed not be bothered by it .it was a very expensive and stress full night not worth the money or headache . more

Why would I ever go here again? 8/5/2010

Before my last experience I considered it marginal but worth trying again, but not now. We traveled over an hour to get there (obviously not their problem how far we are from their location) just to arrive to signs that said "Closed for private party, open again at 10AM tomorrow." I fully understand the importance of group events to any business in the entertainment industry. But there is a HUGE difference between serving private parties in a portion of your facility and completely closing your retail business during normal operating hours. I recognize the allure of the massive contract for a big money event but ownership/management knew darn well that closing a facility that a retail customer base should be safe in assuming is open for business would inconvenience ordinary customers. Without a doubt, someone made the decision to blow off the rank and file customers in lieu of a greedy, big sale. Even worse, when I clarified with the attendants outside just to make certain that indeed they were randomly closed to the public (I asked them politely without the sarcasm I'm displaying here), the customer friendly response received was "Yea, sorry bout that." As a business owner myself, I an fairly sure Bullwinkles made tens upon tens of thousands of dollars from selling out to their greed last night. It would take dozens or hundreds of turned away customers like myself to equal that volume over a long period of time. Nonetheless, since they inconsiderately chose to not service the general public that they normally depend on, I refuse to ever step foot in that place again. Go at your own risk - they may have decided to randomly not want your business! more

Fun For Adults Too 1/13/2009

I brought my kid here the other day for a birthday party and it was our first time. I was really impressed with the place. I used to love going to the arcade when I was a kid and this is exactly what it was an arcade for kids. My 3 boys went crazy when they saw all the games. My wife and I love riding the go carts and playing the mini golf. I suggest going onto there website because they have some sweet deals. Over all I say that this place is an awesome place for the entire family. Pros: Go Karts, Lazer Tag, Mini Golf Cons: Non more

Nice place to spend an afternoon 1/13/2009

The staff was friendly and helpful. They completed their duties in a professionsl manner. It was a fun day. The attractions were fun and family friendly. They had some great attractions. They were reasonably priced and fun.The arcade was pretty standard. They had some good prizes, though. The food was great tasting and reasonably priced. The prices overall were about average. There were some things that were priced better then most entertainment places. more

Don't go there for the pizza 9/15/2008

Bullwinkle?s is a family favorite for our family. It gets extremely expensive fast and the food is terrible but we live in Wilsonville so we are able to eat before and after. Otherwise, the arcade games are constantly updated, the mini-golf courses are well kept and the bumper boats/go-carts are a lot of fun. The last time that we went we had a lot of problems with the batting cages and finding help was very difficult. The customer service is also terrible and you will most likely be ignored at the ticket counter while they talk amongst themselves even if you just have a question to ask. At times it seemed that some of the employees were intentionally avoiding eye contact or turned around when they saw you approach them. I would suggest better staff training! The bad customer service doesn't deter us since we are fully familiar with getting around on our own there, but it could be a major downside for those who aren't regulars. Pros: Fun Games, Mini-Golf, Go-Carts, Batting Cages Cons: Terrible Food, Needs Better Staff Training ASAP more

Horrible customer service, great play place 8/15/2008

Since I live only a block from Bullwinkle's, it's great fun to walk down and play around with friends and family. As a teacher and still in my twenties, I understand all too well teenage attitudes, behaviours, and all of that. HOWEVER, I have never seen such rude behaviour from teenage workers! I keep hoping that I arrive to better service, but have yet to see it. Every single person who works there (apart from those who work in the booth where you purchase ride tickets) is rude, bored, and could care less about their job. They act as if you are doing them a disservice by coming in and making them work. We've had a couple instances where we put our tokens in to play Air Hockey to find there isn't a puck! Tracking down one of the kids is a pain in and of itself and they're usually pretty rude about it, rolling their eyes and taking their sweet time to find a puck. That said, there are plenty of things to do for everyone in the family. I love riding the go-karts and bumper boats (especially in the heat!), My best friend and I have a blast playing the old school arcade games like Skeet Ball and the newer ones like Deal or No Deal. She took the kids she nannies for and they had a blast. However, (and this goes back to the ridiculous customer service) one of the games they were playing ran out of tickets. The kids tracked down a worker who, oh so reluctantly, talked on his headset to have someone go fix it. My friend and I couldn't believed how inconvenienced he looked and treated two little kids! If you can deal with the awful customer service, Bullwinkle's is a fun place to play around. The owner should heed these complaints and either change staffing or train them in customer service...or at least general manners. If they're going to have a private party, they should also let people know the place will be closed during those times. Pros: great rides, fun activties Cons: abysmal customer service more

Don't be fooled by their business hours... 8/26/2007

I've been here with my four kids twice and each time, I was very disappointed with the customer service. The first time we drove from Salem after checking online for their hours. We arrived and were told that they'd be closing for a private party in 45 minutes. We were disappointed, but we decided to stay and make the most of it in a short amount of time. We purchased a ton of tokens, ordered dinner and then 20 minutes before their 'closing time', they shut the machines off. They shut them off right as my son won a "jackpot" of prize tickets, thus cutting off the tickets and he never received them. He was rightfully upset, especially because they weren't closing for 20 more minutes and we had only been there for 25 minutes. We had popped about $100 down in 25 minutes for dinner and tokens with hardly a thing or time to show for it and they would not refund us for tokens we couldn't use. So then the kids went to turn in their tickets for prizes and the teenagers who work there were horribly rude. They were trying to rush us out of there as fast as possible (and remember, it's still not even closing time...they were supposed to be open until 8 pm and it's only 7:40 at this point) and the rude worker said "Do you just want to keep the tickets and come back next time?" in a snotty tone. No of course my kids don't want to walk away empty handed, they want their prizes, plus, we live 45 minutes away and we're NOT coming back. So then several months later we decide to give them another try...we went there yesterday, a Saturday at 3 PM... guess what? THEY WERE CLOSED FOR A PRIVATE PARTY! Again! We drove all the way there on a Saturday afternoon and they were closed, again. Moral of the story...CALL AHEAD! DON'T BE FOOLED BY THEIR BUSINESS HOURS! Cons: bad customer service, expensive, you have to pay $5 a child just to use the play structure that is free at Mcdonalds, more

Well, compared to the Family Fun Center in Tukwila, WA, i would say that this one is a bit more average, and the facilities more crowded. Although I enjoyed myself and the facilities are very nice, i experienced many machines that did not work and it seems, a smaller selection of arcade games, some that were less functional than what i have experienced previously. more

PROMOTES SMILES 7/8/2003

This place is great to bring kids to and enjoy the arcade, laser tag, or outdoor activities (batting cages, miniature golf, bumper boats, or go-karts). I enjoyed coming here many a times and would go back to re-live some of my childhood moments. My recommendation is to hit the laser tag room and then take a spin on the go-karts! Pros: Lots to do, Good food, Short lines more
