When I rented from Family Auto Rental I did a careful walk around the vehicle with a representative and reported several existing damages to the car. It was mainly scratches, but on one side it was a scratch and a small dent very close together (approx 1 inch). Both me and the representative from Family pointed at the dent and scratch and he noted down the damages on a chart.
One week later the same guy (i think) inspected the car. He accused me of denting the car. I referred to the chart but they argued that he had only noted a scratch and not the dent when I picked the car up.
I was very upset because indirectly they were accusing me of lying. I suspect that they charge several customers for the same dent.
My advise is choose another rental company! Dont save some few dollars on renting for theese guys!
