Editorial review from Citysearch 8/20/2012

I submitted a post on August 17th after Fallon's had just delivered the a bouquet which fell way below the standards of the bouquet which I had ordered for my fiancee. A few hours after emailing Fallon's to express my displeasure with their service, I received a personal email from the general manager expressing his deepest apologies for the mistaken order. He promised to send a replacement bouquet on the next business day and he did not fail to deliver this time around. My fiancee's quote, ""It's the biggest, prettiest bouquet I've ever seen!"" more

Not dependable for delivery 2/16/2012

Fallons Creative Flowers failed to deliver my Valentine's Day bouquet from my husband TWO YEARS IN A ROW. My husband had to call repeatedly both years to inquire about the status of the delivery on Valentine's Day, and then finally had to physically go into the shop to get replacements. He wrote a beautiful note that I had to read off of the order confirmation email. Unbelievable. My husband voiced his complaint, and I sent an email to the shop. Of course, I have heard nothing back. If you want dependable service on your important occasion, I would go elsewhere. more

VERY UNHAPPY 2/14/2012

I ordered flowers for my daughter's 21st birthday and and had them deliverd to her work. This was the first time she had every recieved flowers and it was a very special birthday for her. I told her to send me a picture of them and could not believe my eyes when I saw them. It looked nothing like what I ordered over the phone. I was so upset. I paid about $75 for these flowers and the flowers you buy in the grocery stores looked A LOT better than what they sent. They proceded to tell me that if they don't have the exact flowers they will replace with others. There were very few flowers and a lot of greenery. I finally sent the manager of the store a picture and he couldn't believe it was that bad. He even admitted it. They offered to take $50 off my order. By the way this was from their Wake Forest Rd location. \r To top all this off. My daughter recieved roses today from her boyfriend and they also came from Fallons on Wake Forest Rd. Guess what?? They roses were very dried out. I would try someone else if you want quality flowers. This is not the place to buy them. more

Flowers received at the wrong address 6/22/2011

I was the unattended recipient of flowers from Fallons, which were addressed to a different house number on a different street two blocks over. Llucky for the person who sent these, I delivered these to the correct address. more

A little dissapointed for what I spent 1/12/2011

I placed my order over the phone and received excelent service over the phone. They were nice to me, answered all of my questions, and were able to have my order ready for pick-up the very next day. I was very pleased with my 'service' there. I am not very pleased with the flowers I picked up today. I have taken a picture and I am going to try and post it here. I ordered the PREMIUM (a $20 upgrade) Spray Roses are Pink arrangement (seen on their webpage). My flowers do not really look like this picture...stated to be the Deluxe version of this arrangement. I ordered the next upgrade, the Premium arrangement. No ribbon, no filler baby's breath or anything. Nothing to really make it Premium. The vase (not the vase pictured online) was filled to the very very tippy top with water. Much of that water is now all over the back of my van. They were not prepared for transport at all...and I picked them up...of course they were going to be transported somewhere. I should have asked them to remove some of the water, but I brought a box and surrounded them with towels...still water everywhere. They just didn't look like the picture...and certainly not like $65 worth of flowers. I wont be going back there...a lesson learned I suppose. more

Prompt Delivery and on Valentine's Weekend! 2/19/2010

Was visiting Raleigh over Valentine's weekend and had flowers delivered to our hotel. They were there at 8am on Saturday just as I had ordered. Could not believe they got there so early and they looked good. Price is about what what I expected for Valentine's. So thankful they got there on time with a great looking arrangement. Thanks for helping me out on Valentine's. Pros: Great quality and prompt delivery Cons: Nothing! more

I have used Fallons both professionally as well as for my wedding. Their exceptional customer service along with high quality product should be inspiration for anyone in business. Pros: Customer Service, Selection, Product, Quality more

Wonderful Wedding Flowers and Experiance 11/12/2009

I believe it was David(?) who was the consultant I worked with. The notes from my wedding planning album has a smudge so the name questionable. I came in last year after a horrid experience at another florist consultation--I didn't even have an appointment. I was tearful and just drove to a florist I'd driven by before but had never stopped in. The fellow took pity on a poor bride-to-be and stopped what he was doing to show me the books they have that I could look through at one of the tables. He went back to finish up what he was doing while I perused the books. \r \r I had a good idea of most of what I wanted but the books helped and when he got done with his work and came over to me we hammered it right out. (The single stargazer lily idea he suggested turned out better than I could have even hoped). I had not even thought of the corsages yet but he went through it all with me and we made sure I wasn't missing anyone important. The flowers looked like a picture from a book, though we got married in a garden everyone went on and on about my bouquet and the other flowers. I'm so glad I stopped by instead of going home to cry and start again from scratch looking at the different florists online to pick out multiple ones (lesson learned from the previous florist consultation of the day) and schedule visits. The prices were good and even the smaller bouquet I carried for my bridal portraits was beautiful and priced very well. Pros: Everything! Ideas, service, meeting, arrangements, etc. Cons: Nothing I can think of. more

Best Florist in the Triangle 9/20/2008

I have been a very long time customer of Fallons and they just keep getting better. Their Friday 2 for 1 sale on fresh flowers is unbelievable...what a deal and their flowers are very fresh. Everytime I go in the customer service is always fantastic. I would recommend them highly. My friend had her wedding done by Fallons and what a beautiful job they did. Great Place! Pros: Fresh Flowers, 2 for 1 on Fridays, Great Service Cons: Get there early or selection can be thin more

Flowers and Scalping? 12/17/2007

I'm not sure of their flower services, but I was appalled that someone there (I assume it an owner since they used the Fallon's email address) was scalping products on Craigstlist- specifically Wiis, marked $175 over retail. Since they used the @fallonsflowers(dot)com email address, it is relevant.\r \r Since there are many floral shops who stick to selling Flowers, I'd stay well away from Fallon's.\r \r I have copies of the posts and email correspondence: to wit(\r Email \r date Dec 18, 2007 9:22 AM\r subject Re: Fallons is a scalper?\r Reply\r My apologies....this has nothing to do with Fallons however, I did use my email address from Fallons which is where I work...After standing in line from 4 in the morning I think the price is justified....)\r \r My take: I do not believe it to be so- people who stand in line for Christmas gifts should be doing it for people they really care about- not to make a buck. And to do it from a floral shop, with the company email system is at minimum a conflict of interest, and more relevant a show of poor business acumen by a desire to screw over shoppers.\r \r Update: The person who posted the ad is Frank Campesi, the manager. Pros: They have flowers- and side businesses Cons: Attitude reflects desire to rip off customers by any means more

Best Customer Service! 3/4/2007

I am extremely impressed with the fantastic customer service I recieved today, I only wish I got the woman's name. I was in a crunch and desperately needed flowers for my mother-in-law, I ordered the flowers over the phone and was amazed with what I recieved! It was the most beautiful tulip arrangement I have ever seen! The woman with short blond hair helped me out and its as if she read my mind as to what I was looking for. Great service, great selection, great price! Pros: Customer Service, Floral arrangement Cons: None! more

Use another florist 4/25/2005

The flowers that I received for my 6th month anniversary of dating a wonderful man were awful. The arrangement was nice but the roses were nicked, old and worn and the edges were rolled back, the water was dirty, plant food was not included and it wasn't sitting in a carry box in case I wanted to take them home. BTW, they died and flopped over in 2 days without opening because they were not good roses. Upon calling, they were apologetic & sent me replacement flowers which arrived on Monday. They were better but already fully open and the water was dirty, there was no food for the roses and no box to put them in if I wanted to take them home. This is not how someone should receive roses (fully open, dirty water). Anyway, I won't use this shop and I don't suggest that anyone else does. Cons: Uses bad roses more
