Fajita Rita is a small restaurant located in an old strip mall on Eastside Boulevard. I have only visited their establishment a few times, and the main reason, I hate to admit, is because of the appearance of their surroundings. When I dine out, I like to enjoy the entire experience. I just can't do that with Fajita Rita. The strip mall, where they are located, is just so run down, and has been for many years. They have a Family Dollar store next to them, which always has miscellaneous junky looking merchandise out front... and then there is the Rent-A-Center, which just doesn't put you in the mood for an appetizing meal.
Once you actually enter Fajita Rita, the interior is not much better. I believe no matter how clean they keep their restaurant, it just seems dirty... and it's hard to get excited about a restaurant that seems dirty!
Ok, if you can get past the appearances, the food is decent, really, about average. The service is pretty good, and prices are average.
Sorry, I know this review has really focused more on the appearance and location than other factors, but those are the things that really stand out when thinking about this restaurant. It is really unfortunate, but maybe if they read this review, they will consider my opinion, and who knows, it could improve their business in the long run!
