I had a really bad experience with the place, which only became fully clear after seeing a good optician nearly two years later, and having my eyes re-evaluated. Firstly, the counter staff were rude. For some reason a junior who worked behind the counter did some of the exam work and assessments, which I thought was odd. I went in for glasses and contacts eye test, and ordered both after my exam. The exam was rushed, and I got a sense he really just wanted to juice my insurance for as much as he could. A few days later, I went to pick up my order of contacts, got them home, put them on, and wow they were wrong! Checked the contacts against the prescription, and they had one of the lenses completely wrong. Went back to the store to complain, and they re-ordered a new batch of lenses for that eye. Lucky I checked, the counter staff had screwed up the order. They gave me one replacement lens to tide me over, until the re-order came in. A few days later I went to pick up my newly lensed glasses, and wow did they feel wrong! I found my vision was completely different to my contact lenses (which I had never had before). They just did not feel quite right, nearly right, but not right. I went back to the store, and was told by one of the opticians on duty that there was nothing wrong, they were just a new prescription and I would get used to them. I have stupidly been putting up with these contacts and glasses for about two years, until I thought it was time to see a optician for a check up. I obviously looked for a new one, and found a really good, engaged, skilled, experienced Optician this time, thankfully. After testing my glasses and looking at my contact lens prescription, then completely re-assessing my eyes - she concluded two things. Firstly, that both were not good prescriptions and definitely needed adjustment for both eyes. Secondly, that the contact and glasses prescription did not match and were quite far apart in strength! NOT GOOD!! BEWARE!!
Pros: None at all
Cons: Incompetent, time wasters
