EXTREME NEW YORK 2566 BROADWAY NEW YORK, NY 10025 212-222-4265 Be sure and ask for Sandy! Sandy does a fabulous job blow drying and coloring. Several of my friends go to her and we all love the way she styles our hair. One of my friends drives in from NJ just to have Sandy cut her hair. Her styles look amazing and she knows what looks good on different faces and body types! My husband says I look younger when she does my hair--a little edgy by comparison to the upscale eastside salons. Take the 1/9 Broadway line to 96th and walk a blook north on Broadway. The salon is on the east side of the street. Good prices and you can make appointments, too. more

Damn cheap hair styling 8/18/2005

Extreme New York is an excellent compromise between the cheap and shabby cuts of the chains like Supercuts and the high-priced flair of exclusive salons. The haircuts and styling here are priced a bit higher than budget but way below most salons. Most people would not be able to tell the difference between the cuts you get here and the higher priced salons. more
