Hi we rented a 12 seater Van with image rent a car . To start with Josh gave us a very competitive quote for a 9 day trip from JFK AIRPORT NEW YORK . This was followed up by some excellent customer service by HERB at the Doubletree Hotel [Pickup point for the Large person carrier Van] After smoothly processing require documentation --herb took us through some basic controls as I'd just landed from U.K..We were then provided with an excellent vehicle which gave us no trouble for the 9 days we had it . Herb after finding out that we were a big group even offered a larger 15 seater van. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and after dropping it off ,as our hotel was less about a 1/2 mile away --Herb even gave us a drop . The whole process was very smooth .We clocked 2000 miles in 9 days and never once did we have a problem. My wife and I are both doctors in England and this was our first adventure in terms of driving a VAN on the left side of the road . I have always owned my own vehicle and have never had a reason to rent one, until this past March. My niece was getting married in North Carolina and all the relatives from Long Island wanted to go. The thought of 7 cars following each other for 12 plus hours, was not something any of us were looking forward to. A friend of mine who works at a local college suggested Image Rent A Car. The college has rented 12 and 15 Passenger Vans from Image for their sports teams for years and have always been very happy with their service. One quick call was all it took to reserve two 15 Passenger Vans. We picked up the vans at the Uniondale Marriott Hotel, which is located next to the Nassau Coliseum. Both vans were ready when we arrived,and the staff was pleasant and very helpful in answering all of our questions. The vans were 2007's with low mileage and a full tank of gas, they were also spotless inside and out. Image sure does live up to it's name. My rental expierence was both postive and pleasurable and I would definitely use their services again and reccomend Image Rent A Car to all of my friends more

I work for a production company based in New York, my job in the company is to provide vehicles for movies, television shows, commercials and print advertisements. I have used several companies in New York to get the vehicles required for different projects. When the need is for a Luxury or Exotic Vehicle my first call is always Image Rent A Car. They always go out of there way to make sure the car we need is available for us. We have primarily worked with a wonderful girl over there named Ann who is the location manager. She is always more then helpful with us and if she does not carry the car we need she has always been able to arrange what i do need or get me something similar. On one occasion we needed a certain car for a high profile client to use during filming of one of his recent movies in NYC. Image did not carry the vehicle he wanted so what did they do? They went out and bought the car and got it in the color he wanted with all the options he was asking for. I have to say they are wonderful and have always gone above and beyond when doing there job and helping me with mine. more

I would like to send a special thank you to the people at Image Rent A Car in Brooklyn, NY. I went in to rent a minivan to take a trip to South Carolina, when we arrived at the rental office I noticed a very large and nice conversion van. While inside the office I asked the girl at the counter if it would be possible to change my reservation to get the big van. I have to say I was so glad we made the change, the van had a plasma TV, a dvd player, GPS, and the back even folded into a bed. The drive to South Carolina was so much better since the kids in the back could watch there movies the whole way (thank god for the wireless headphones, we didn't have to listen to Sponge bob the whole way there). Only thing missing in that van was a kitchen sink and a microwave. I know next year when we have our next family reunion we will back at Image to get another conversion van. more

On February 22nd I flew into Newark airport, a rental agent from Image Rent A Car was waiting for us on the curb at passenger pick up with our van. We had reserved a 15 passenger van with one of there portable GPS Tom Tom units. The van looked brand new, was very clean, and the agent waiting for us even helped load our luggage. I have to say this level of service is far and beyond better than any I have ever gotten from any other company. Getting us all onto a shuttle bus with all of our luggage, unloading it all to just re-load into the van we are renting is not something I think would be at all enjoyable. I was very pleased with the tremendously high level of service we received from Image. I just wish the companys at home provided the same level of service. more

This past week I needed to drive to Washington DC for a business trip. I wanted to be able to pull up with a very nice car in the hopes of impressing my clients. This was a very last minute trip and when I called there store I spoke with a very nice woman named Marcy, she told me they just got a brand new Lexus LS460 in and that is was available. They offered to deliver the vehicle to my office but as I was in a rush to get on the road before traffic got to bad I just got in a cab and went to thier office. They gave me perfect directions to get there, was a very short ride and everyone was very nice when i arrived at there office. The car they gave me actually was BRAND NEW, not a scratch on it and it only had about 100 miles on it. I was very pleased with the entire transaction. I think everyone should just pick there car up so they can have a chance to meet the girls in the front office. Ann and Marcy were wonderful and a really great help to me. I will be sending everyone I know there, and I will make sure I use them every time i have a need for a car. more

I was in New York City to celebrate my 30th birthday. We flew into John F. Kennedy airport and were staying at the Hudson Hotel in NYC. My wife surprised me with a Porsche for the weekend. I will admit at first I thought it was silly to have a car in the city but I could not send it back, it was gift. An employee of the company called my wife on Friday night to tell her he was downstairs with the car and needed her to come sign the paperwork. He was very nice, and even showed us how to work everything on the car. After having the Porsche to cruise around NYC in I am so happy she did it. We had an incredible time and on Monday morning before we went back to the airport the same guy showed up at the hotel to pick up the car. I have to say it was one of the best times I have ever had renting a car. I only wish this kind of company was available back home. I have to say the only problem we had with the entire thing is now I want a Porsche of my own. more

Once again we rented from Image Rent A Car and had a very good experience. The facility in New York JFK Airport is conveniently located in the Holiday Inn Hotel Lobby. We recently rented a car from Image Rent A Car and had a very good experience with this car rental company. We rented a compact car that was a non-smoking vehicle which was really nice. The car was brand new with less than 3,000 miles. I don't blame Image Rent A Car for my less than positive thoughts about the Toyota Corolla we got. We chose Image Rent A Car because we had a Free Gas coupon from their Google Coupons. I went to Travelocity.com and SideStep and Kayak also and checked prices of other car rental companies. After that search I booked the car through Image Rent A Car 's website. For your information that is www.imagerentacar.com. The website is very easy to navigate. I did, though, end up with 3 reservations because the first one didn't show up and neither did the second. When I saw that I had 3 reservations I had to go back and cancel the first two which took some time. I did this all online. I read another review that said Image Rent A Car charged for a second driver. In my experience this did not happen. There was no charge for both my husband and myself to drive the car. We took the Holiday inn Hotel shuttle bus from the airport to Image Rent A Car . Coming from the baggage claim area at the airport in New York, Image Rent A Car's shuttle bus was the farthest one from the baggage claim area. That was a bit inconvenient because of the luggage we were dragging and the same was true on return. We weren't dropped off or pickup up in front of the baggage claim area In summary, my experience with Image Rent A was a positive one. The price was fantastic and although there were a couple of minor issues I would recommend them to you. more

They gave me an upgrade, no extra charge, and the woman who checked the returned car was pleasant and actually told me to have a nice trip home.
