Exceptional Nails

That's all I can say. My manicure last soooo long. 3 WEEKS can you imagine? My nails grow out and are ok no chipping which never happened before. My girlfriend referred me to this salon and I had to drive 30 minutes to get my Shellac manicure done, Pedi as well. lol....Far but I satisfy. :) more

My old place used the remover pads but I dont see any difference :). My girl friend recommended me to this salon couple months ago for Shellac and I just love them. I did read those review about we suppose to soak in a shellac remover pads. But it's IDEALLY. How long would it take to remove all the Shellac? And Im not that patient to wait 1.5 or 2hrs long for a shellac manicure lol..... I got mine removed the same way and they are fine. I can go for 3 weeks without chipping, my nails can grow and that never happened before. Love the Shellac. And I got best experience with Shellac and Pedi here. love love more

I should have looked at the shellac nail videos first. Who knew pads are supposed to be wrapped around each nail to remove the shellac at the end of two weeks. Exceptional Nails had me soaking my fingers in acetone and then scrapped off any residual with a metal manicure instrument One by one my nails began to split and break. The scrapping removed layers of my nails. At last they are growing back. Loved the shellac concept, BUT NEVER again at Exceptional Nails.. more

I found this place after a long day shopping at the Galleria and didnt want to get stuck in the traffic so I stopped by and I had a good time. more

I discovered Exceptional Nails when looking for a place that offered the new CND Shellac nail polish and was very pleased with my initial visit. I referred many friends and even my mother to the salon to try the Shellac Manicure. However, the second time I went, Amy, the salon owner swapped out the Shellac Manicure Polish with a cheaper gel alternative. She still has the shellac on display, and when I asked for Shellac she said it was available and quickly seated me with the next available technician. It wasn't until the base coat was applied that i noticed that not only was it a different color than what I'd asked for, but it was also a different brand. She uses Harmony Gel Nails which is a cheaper, lower quality, and completely different product than Shellac. When I confronted her she acted as if she had no idea what I was talking about. After speaking with her husband, who agreed that what his wife did was dishonest, i received a full refund. My advice to you is to BEWARE and make sure that you are getting what you're paying for when you enter this shop! more

I used the same pedicurist for 3 years at another place. She happened to be out of town and, I had to bite the bullet to have my nails done elsewhere. This is how I found Exceptional Nails.
