STAY AWAY!!! I told the ""stylist"" that I wanted 3 inches cut from my waist length hair. Straight across, no layers. I showed her what I meant by 3 inches. I specified that when standing, my hair should fall BELOW my breasts. I stood up and showed her where to cut it. She cut over 6 inches and my hair now barely reaches the middle of my chest. She pretended not to understand when I got upset and said it ""was very long and it look pretty now"". The woman at the front desk agreed that I had asked for only 3 inches, but also said ""it look pretty"" Disgusting and arrogant. 0 stars if I could. more

first off i'd like to say good cut and great service. other people gave bad reviews but i thought fine. i think the 3.5-4 is a much better review. how the hell does something with a 3 and a 1star review have 3.5 stars. doesn't make any sense. i've only had one cut here and my sister has done 2 on different days but both were great and the stylists did exactly what we wanted instead of just making a few cuts and clipping at your hair for a few mins.. As seen in the last post i got a dry cut and if i must say i hight recommend here and Hair Farfalla in comparison to Bloom. Bloom stinks and ripped me off. So i haven't had much experience here but I'm looking forward to having my Japanese thermal reconditioning/ straightening done. I also haven't had my hair bdried here. I have very thick frizzy curly hair and the stylist at Farfalla did a wonderful cut and seemed to really know what he was doing and seemed like he had lots of experience with my type of hair. needless to say it didn't work out. but it wasn't his fault. my hair just can't be . it needs to be put in rollers or the humidity from drying gets to it. i should have made him do rollers bdried instead. i can't say much about drying but if you can make my extremely thick hair look good i'd say you're pretty good. i'd say most peoples hair would be gorgeous. i really need tr so my hair is really hard to deal with. hopefully i'll be back with more after a few months and tr. i'm going to wait to see if the hair is still healthy and in good condition. a con of tr is that sometimes you don't realize bad results and inexperience for a few months. but the girl seemed good experienced and so i'm confident. Pros: great cut walk in only $20 plus tip. Cons: none that i know of yet...say tuned more

I had a truly miserable experience at this salon. The stylist was more concerned about making money off me than actually doing his job. I was very unhappy with the results. I would never go to this salon again. What a nightmare. more

I was looking for a good salon on the upper east side and was impressed by the service. I was just a regular walk-in inquiring about their prices and then I ended up getting a blow-out for the day. They told me it would be like 5 minutes and it really was 5 minutes. They gave the most best head massage when they shampoo you that you won't even believe. My stylist introduced herself to me and they walked me to the back and gave me one of the best blow-outs ever. I asked for the best stylist that knows how to blow-dry and the receptionist recommended Maria and she truly knows what shes doing. I def recommend this place if your looking for a good blow-out and ask for Maria, shes great! Pros: great head massages and customer service more
