I have been going to Excel Eye Center for years. I love the doctors I have seen. The only problem is, they are extremely slow. I have noticed quite a few geriatric patients in the office when I have been there, and I know they talk a lot about their families, problems, teeth, etc to the doctors and take up a lot of their time. When I go in, I usually wait at least an hour in the waiting room before being called back. The doctors are great when they do finally come into the room, (but because of the older generations inability to talk about every child and grandchild and great grand child and great great grand child and their accomplishments and problems) the docs are very rushed and don't spend much time explaining anything. They are good and friendly doctors though.
The biggest complaint I have with this clinic is the staff, especially ALL OF THE RECEPTIONISTS AT THE FRONT DESK!!! They are all extremely rude and unfriendly. I always try to talk to them and be nice to them but I usually am lucky to get a scoff or grunt from them. There is never a smile or a greeting when you walk in, they act like it's a bother that you are there and it's like pulling teeth to even get them to talk to you. It is absolutely ridiculous. I know others who have gone there and said the same thing- ""I have never been treated so rudely before in my life than I have been by those women at the receptionist counter and it gets worse every time."" I don't know what their problem is, all I know is they are extremely rude. If it wasn't for Dr. Parsons, Dr. Lohner, and Dr. Morris, and the cute little blonde lady in the contact lens department, I wouldn't go back.
