Bad community bank experience 1/28/2009

10+ days to clear an out of state check to open the account. 10+ days for a debit card. Poor online banking, poor phone services. Teller was not knowledgeable about services offered on website. All in all I think I prefer an impersonal large bank that meets my needs to solid customer service from a bank with limited resources more

Unlike BOA or other statewide banks, Evergreen bank is a local bank operated in Seattle area. It is different style with other banks when you entered into their offices. The representatives are always friendly and they will remember you if you go to their office frequently. They will offer you coffee and water while your waiting. Usually it was pretty fast to go there and you don't need to wait in the long line... more
