An excellent tour company with many options!!! 11/29/2011

WinterTravel, your basing your opinion on one tour. You clearly had a one off experience. Please do the responsible thing and go on multiple tours before you right a review like this, or at least specify your limited credibility. Doing so eliminates the possibility of abnormality (I'm sure we both remember our high school science experiments :D). I have been on several tours now and have a good picture of the business. The tours range from all activity levels and each experience has been a different activity level for me. Evergreen escapes has some of the best provided equipment and the best inclusive lunch I have had for being in middle of nature. The guides are extremely knowledgeable and make it a very exciting experience! WinterTravel, your complaints are not accurate for what you signed up for. Your problems are easily solved if you book a private tour with Evergreen Escapes. The disappointment you experienced can be found in errors made on the user side, not the company. If you want something specific, you need to ask for it, otherwise, don't complain. more

An expensive disappointment 2/28/2011

We were both quite disappointed in our all day expensive trip with Evergreen Escapes. I had been so hoping it would be good as I planned it all out long in advance and it meant doing a lot of logistic maneuvering and additional costs for us on top of the $$$ for the day-trip with Evergreen to be able to do this trip.\r \r At a cost of over $200 per person for 1 day (with taxes) we were thinking and had read online we'd have a full day of snowshoeing with 1 short and 1 long snowshoe hike, but we only were taken on one very short snowshoe walk around a pond. The little walk at a very slow pace was under an hour long. And that was all we did really except drive back and forth from Seattle with a few very short photo stops. Oh and we ate a sandwich and a cookie in the van the company supplied. It was a nice van. But the price of over $400 for this trip for the 2 of us was absurdly high we both thought for what we got. I had been hoping/thinking we would book other trips with Evergreen Escape as their trips *sound* interesting but we found reality wasn't as it read like it was online with this company. more
