Awful Experience 5/21/2010

The owner (Malih) is ridiculous. I went there to get my hair dyed from brown to blonde. I now have red hair with massive bleach stains where she missed when applying the hair dye. Also, my hair is not only crooked, but six different lengths. When I asked the owner for a partial refund, she refused saying that she "works for her money and I cannot come back unless I want her to fix it." She also stated that I would have to pay for the fixing of what she did! Outrageous. I would NEVER reccommend this salon to anyone. more

Deceptive Business Practice 7/27/2009

She didn't even know what was wrong with my eyes. She just put some more ink under far from my left eyelid. I did not get any information from her except avoid the sun. Then she said she can give me a retouch-up for free after a week. I ended up unhappily that night. Next day, I went to another professional permanent makeup artist near where I live. She said my eyes look so awful and seems like my eyeliners have been done by a beginner. She also said I have to wait a week until the skin peels on my eyelids. If the ink spot does not go away, I might have to see a doctor. It would cost over $800.00 for spot removal under my eye. I called Malih to ask for refund, she said "no." because her son said so. And the money already went to paying tax. What kind of business is this??? I sent the complaint form to the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology with some photographs of my face. I also found out that there were some other clients too who were dissatisfied with her job. Earnestly, I wish her exfoliate her business license by the board. more

Deceptive Business Practice 7/27/2009

I have just had my eyeliners done by Malih Bafupour a couple days ago. The reason I went there was when I looked at her website, it said that she had over 20 years experience, and I read about reviews of her salon.(I recently found out that the reviews were written by herself.) So I did not doubt her ability. When I called her to aski for price and information of eye shape that she can procedure, she offered me $295.00 for full eyeliners and kept urging me to not go to other places several times. Somehow, I made an appointment with her at 4:00pm on July 22, 2009. When I arrived, there was a little form that I had to fill out about my name, address, phone number and needed to mark off short questions which were very different from what I have experienced for permanent makeup in Vacaville two years ago. Normally other salons provide some paper sheets to new clients such as, permanent makeup pre-procedure information, homecare instructions, healing schedules and general information. But I did not recieve those forms. She just explained the shape that she is going to proceduce. Then she put a very thin ointment on my eyelids to anesthetize. After 5 minutes, she started to touch up my eyelids with a machine needle. It was so painful. She did not explain anything what as she was proceeding. It took about 30 minutes to get done. When I looked in the mirror the result were not totally what I was expected. There were spots under my left eye, both uppers and lowers are not clean and uneven sizes on both my eyelids. It just looked like she smeared the ink under my eyes. She kept saying, "You are beautiful." She was rushing me to be happy. And she said when I get retouch-up later on, she can give me a big discount. It was very strange that I thought she was supposed to give me a follow up for free. By that time my husband was waiting outside in the car, I came out of the salon very unhappy. Me and my husband decided to go back inside and asked her to fix my eyeliners again. She didn't even know what w more



Terrible Salon! Don't torchure yourself! 7/11/2005

The worst service that I have ever experienced. I went in with an appointment for a waxing and had to wait about twenty minutes to be seen. When the lady finally took me in the other room for the waxing, she kept running in an out as she was still doing a ladies hair in the salon. After feeling the pain and seeing the job that the lady did on my, I believe that she had no business using wax. I went home and showed my husband and he agreed that what she had done was totally unacceptable. It was my first time doing this so I didn't complain. I paid the lady my $100.00 dollars and left with a VERY POOR WAXING job. I ended up calling another salon and had to get a repair job done and pay again. The second salon did a wonderful job and charged about a 1/3 of the price and was awesome! The second salon couldn't believe that someone from a salon had done such a bad job on me. Needless to say that I continued going to the second place. Long story short, Do your homework before you go in for a waxing! more
