It's sad to see this place go down hill. The food is getting worse, Chicken is like frozen then recooked. beans are good. Service is very bad. Decor is old & needs to be fresh...

Best Mexican Food 8/18/2005

I have been eating at Ernie's for years. They have the best Mexican food I've ever had. The food is always to same - delicious! The service is second to none - I wonder how they can prepare the food so fast! My all-time favorite dish is the guacomole beef taco! They also have great salsa. The atmosphere is old style decor - pleather brown and orange booths, fake flickering candle chandaliers. more

good cheap tacos! 7/11/2005

Ernie's has good, cheap, authentic Mexican tacos. They have all different kinds, so you can enjoy a combination. Their beans are good, too. The staff has been there forever and they are very friendly. Parking can be tough, though. Sometimes, we take extras home for later! more

Delicious! 7/10/2005

The red burrito is to die for! My family and I have been eating here since we were young. My sister, who is 25, has been getting the same thing every time she goes...the red burrito. Everything there is delicious. They like to change to recipe of the salsa a lot. I don't like that because they used to have a great salsa and we would love going there not only for the food but for the salsa as well. more
