Experience the world 10/2/2006

I know there's a lot to see and do at Epcot Center, but my absolute favourite place in the park is the World Showcase. Where else can you enjoy food, beer, and culture from so many countries for less than a plane ticket to *one* of those destinations? The China "exhibit" is always cool -- they get kids from the acrobatic team to perform stunts that is always entertaining. Japan has the taiko drums. Every country has some kind of exhibit to learn more about the history of the country and a lot of them some kind of interactive exhibit like a ride or something. I think all of them also have a kid craft that if your kids do them all they can get a pin or something at guest services. I don't have kids, so I'm not positive, but I see the kids walking around with the crafts. Every year in the fall they also host the International Food and Wine Festival. This year it's held from October 2, 2006 to November 12, 2006. more

Really neat restaurants of diverse nationalities! 5/6/2006

I went to Epcot some while back with my children. I thought it was fun but also a learning experience for them to see the different customs and dresses of other nationalities. My favorite being the Italian area where we decided to have a lunch of pasta to rest and eat. My daughter did an essay on it when she got back to school so I know it left a real impression! more

Epcot!! 4/16/2006

Epcot is one of four theme parks located in Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. It consists of Future World and the World Showcase. I love each part of the park equally- there are so many great attractions to explore. Take your time- you might up to two days to see everything Epcot has to offer! more

Epcot 4/16/2006

Epcot is my favorite theme park at Disney World. While it may not have all the exciting rides and shows of the other three parks, it is themed incredibly well and it is the best park to relax in. A stroll around World Showcase at night is probably my favorite thing to do at Disney World. Epcot also has the best music, architecture, and atmosphere. For anybody who loves to relax on vacation, Epcot will likely be your favorite theme park. more

One of my favorites 4/14/2006

I love Epcot. It has such variety that there is something for everyone. We have spend days and days at Epcot on previous visits, and I don't think we are close to being to the point where we have seen it all! Illuminations, the spectacular fireworks display at the park's close is wonderful. Be sure to stake out a spot around the lagoon early, because it does tend to get packed at viewing time! Strolling through the countries in the World Showcase is so relaxing and enjoyable. I love to taste the foods from the different areas, and stop and watch the movies and ride the rides for those pavillions that offer them. The restaurants in the different countries are terrific as well. I the rest of the park as well ... from the Living with the Land ride, Soarin', Mission is all fantastic entertainment One of my favorite things to do at Epcot is sitting with a snack and watching the fountain -- it is so pretty, and at certain times, the water is in sync to the music playing -- it is relaxing, and a beautiful thing to watch. more

Takes Two Days 3/26/2006

Epcot is huge and takes two days to truly see it all. There are two areas- future world and the world showcases which surround a lake. Soarin' is the newest ride and it is amazing- you feel like you are hang gliding over California! Although there are many attractions which are wonderful, the food is equally intriguing. They offer both table and counter service from arouns the world- take advantage of the unique cuisines. Also in October, the food and wine festival offers even more choices. more
