Environmental Pest Control company

I called this company over a week ago for what is suspected to be a mouse problem under my house in my flooring, no mice presence in the house itself. The noises at night are driving me crazy and they came out and placed poison bait in several locations saying that after 14 days they will remove the bait boxes and the dead mice. The person that came out told me that realistically the poison should take effect in 4-5 days. After 7 days I am still hearing mice and asked them if they would come check the boxes to see if the bait is being taken..(why wait 7 more days if not being used) they have refused. Stating if they do they will have to charge me..I am 15 minutes away from their office (BTW: they also charged me a ""fuel surcharge of $3??) and checking would take just a few minutres...he even told me he had time to do it but would have to charge me just to look and ease a customers mind. Not the kind of customer service that I expected..I am not an expert in this area but at least wanted some assurance that we were on the right track. I am now waiting another 7 days and hoping the bait will work or we will have wasted 14 days and need to try something else. I will update this review after that time and hopefully be able to let you know my problem has been solved. We will see...but for now poor customer service in a tight economy is not the way to maintain and grow a business ... I do know that much. Concerned more

My experience with Steve at Environmental Pest Control was negative. EPS has worked on the building I'm moving from for years, and for years the building has had roaches. \r \r He came into my unit, because I found five FIVE in one week. The first question he asked me was where I was going because he thought I was bringing them in, so I have an idea of his mind set right there.\r \r After he came, I saw more and asked my landlord, who I felt did not do enough either, if I could talk to him. It took him a few weeks to call and when he did, in mid sentence he hung up on me. He never called back and I did not try him back because by that time, I knew I was already moving. \r \r I understand that there's only so much a pest company can do, and that people can inadvertently bring them in and that a lot depends on the neighbors, etc., however, I would like my questions answered and I do not appreciate being hung up on. I move tomorrow. For this, I give them a one star. I would give them a zero, if more
