I?m not sure what these other two brides are talking about?it sounds like a couple of bridezillas! DJ Ed is so layed back and easy going, no wonder he didn?t want to work with them. I wouldn?t want to work with them either! You can tell both are trashy and a pain in the butt and it sounds like he refused to work with either of them. He told Bobby and me stories about some of the crazy bridezillas he has had to deal with through the years. We didn?t have any service problems with the company and actually were very impressed. We heard about these guys through a friend who was thrilled with their service and professionalism at her wedding at the Edgewater Hotel, so we did some research. The brides at The Knot magazine voted them as one of the best in 2007 and 2008, so we called them. We wanted to hire their string ensemble too, but they didn?t travel to Eastern Washington. They came to meet with us at our house and we were immediately impressed with the owner Ed Waterman and his knowledge of weddings and Sun Mountain Lodge where we were getting married at. We didn?t know that he was already on their preferred vendor list, so that was a pleasant surprise. He traveled hundreds of miles to work with us and he did the mics for our ceremony outside, then music for our cocktail hour on the lanai and our reception. It was a beautiful wedding! Ed was upbeat and funny and kept our guests in the loop on what we were going to do next. Our guests (most who flew in from New York) raved about the music and how much fun they had. The dance floor was packed all night until they kicked us out around midnight. Sun Mountain (gorgeous!) and our DJ were the best choices we made. My husband and I HIGHLY recommend DJ Ed Waterman and Entertainment Northwest if you have a wedding coming up.
Pros: friendly, funny, professional, great service
Cons: he isn't cheap!
