GORGEOUS reception site. Just had my wedding reception there in the main ballroom and it impressed the entire crowd. Beyond impressed - they were more like swept away. They took care of everything for me, including the decorations, favor placements, setting up our appetizer tables, making sure vendors had access when they needed it, and way more. The site managers stayed up all night with our wedding with their families in order to make sure it was going according to plan. They were relaxed enough to let us bring our own liquor in but still maintained a breathtaking decoration scheme and elegant atmosphere. The only complaint I have was just with the quality of the food. It was delicious, but I feel the price outweighed the taste on that front. Other than that, the Emporium was a true bargain for the stress it took off my shoulders. I will DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone who asks. For the south side of San Antonio, this is truly a diamond in the rough. I wish these guys the best of luck for the future! more

just celebrated our wedding at Emporium by Yarlen. The venue is beautiful, however please don't let that fool you. **Paid a lot of money and received the worst service ever! BIG MISTAKE! the worst service from the staff and most of all from the OWNER**** the waiters were rude to most of the guest. I had so much feed back from my guest stating they received bad service at dinner. EVEN THE OWNER YELLED AND ATTACKED ME (the bride), WHEN I ADVISED HER THAT THE WAITER BROKE MY PARK AVENUE BRIDE GLASS. THE OWNERS SON PICKED OUT CERTAIN GUEST AND ASKED SAPD TO KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR THEM. THEY SHOULD NOT DISCRIMINATE ON THE GUEST. take your business elsewhere guys, I wish I had. more
