I love Emmanuel salon I have never left a salon before feeling so rejuvenated and inspired. The entire treatment from check in to check out was centered on making me feel special. I loved not only the fantastic hair cut, color, style, and make up application, but the personal attention that went into the process . You can honestly tell that the staff cares. more

I was so excited to have such a wonderful experience when I visited Emmanuel Salon!!! I have been looking for years to find a salon who consistently does a perfect job on my hair and finally found that at Emmanuel Salon... I recently moved to Houston, and after trying many salons I finally have settled on Emmanuel Salon in Sugar Land. The entire staff was friendly and encouraging. I felt very welcomed walking through the front door and from my shampoo to my haircut to my great new Bumble and Bumble products, I feel my entire experience was positive. I will definitely be back. This is by far the best salon in Houston. Nothing compares to having people you trust doing your hair. After having a bad hair cut when I was younger I was very anxious when it was time to get my hair cut; however, Stieve changed that. For the last 7 years I have trusted no one else to cut my hair. I can sit down in a chair and know that no matter what she is going to take care of me. The salon is clean, fresh and very friendly. The integrity of the business is very obvious and I would recommend that anyone go. There is no other place like Emmanuel--NONE! Pros: Great staff. Integrity. Quality products. Best hair cuts in town! Cons: You might want to go back more often than every 6 weeks...=) more

This salon is now in Sugerland on Hwy. 6. If anyone wants to contact Veronica, the AWESOME stylist who was mistreated by both Stevie and Brian, she is in a new great location on Westheimer called Alex Burton. Yvette is also there now. You can contact and make appointments with either of them at 832-204-1639. I personally followed Stevie from the beginning of her career from one salon to another for over 20 years. My last cut was a chop job and the person who ""washed"" my hair was rude and unprofessional. Water was cold and my hair was lathered only once ..meaning it was still ""dirty"". I should have said something at the time but felt ""rushed"" and unappreciated by their (Stevie & Brian's) entire staff. Call Veronica at her intimate and lovely new location. She will ALWAYS accommodate and appreciate your patronage and loyalty. Take it from someone who truly knows! Cons: overpriced. $75.00 haircut & additional $25.00 to blowdry!!! more

I knew I wanted to try something different with my hair but was not sure what to do. After my roommate went to Emmanuel I tried it. The staff was great - I go to Yvette and she is awesome at suggesting what would work with my hair type and skin tone. She also taught me a lot about taking care of my hair and working with it instead of against it! more

My hair was washed with cold water, the salon is freezing the whole time and I had my hair cut and specifically asked for it to be cut a certain length (not much)-and he cut it A LOT shorter than I wanted and over-texturized the bottom so it was way too thinned out. They definitely do not know how to cut fine hair here. It will take me at least six months to grow my hair out. I would have been better off to never have gotten it cut at all. more

I read a couple reviews on CitySearch, but that wasn't enough to actually make me try a new salon. I live right around the corner so I called to see if I could come by to look around and see if I wanted to make an appointment. Everyone there makes you feel so welcomed and comfortable. Veronica cut my hair the next day and I absolutely love it. I feel she understands my hair better than anyone else that has ever cut my hair. I cannot wait to see her in another 6 weeks. Thanks! I love,love,love this salon! It has been newly remodled and it is so cool, which matches the staff there. Where do I begin? This is by far the best hair salon in the whole city of Houston. I know, because I've visited quite a few of them. The entire staff there is obviously there to serve the customers,( a lost art)!The fact they exclusively carry Bumble and bumble makes them worth seeking out alone.The nicest make-up to compliment the most current fashion can also be found here. Everyone here has done my hair, and I reccomend them ALL! The owners are so down to earth and humble. The nicest people! Pros: Beautiful salon,, friendly staff, calm atmosphere more

I have followed them from a former salon. They are all excellent and I have referred several friends there who also have loved it! I trust them implicitly with my hair...and I'm VERY picky!! They are very friendly and have a lot of ideas for styles and colors. They even did my wedding make up and hair. more
