The Best Repair Service I've ever seen. I called after hours, they told me that they would send a guy my way the next morning. My Maytag Dryer was busted so I called Emerald City since I was referred to them by a coworker. They replaced some parts at really cheap prices (I knew because the bill was lower than I expected) and didn't charge me all these ""hidden fees"" that I usually saw with my last appliance repair order. Great service here, will definitely call them back if I need them again! more

Our 5 year old fridge stopped working a Wednesday morning. We called them and were suggested to unplug the fridge for 4-6 hours as it is somewhat common that condensation clogs the ducts that allow cool air circulation between the freezer (still working) and the fridge (warm). When this did not work, we found ourselves in a bit of a hurry to book a repair person to fix our fridge. We called them again and booked an appointment for their very first available spot, Thursday evening. When they asked us if we had alternate arrangements to keep our food and we confirmed that we then arranged a same-day late-evening home call. They were fully reliable, showed up on time, properly diagnosed the problem, and came back the very next day with the piece and fixed our fridge. I found Emerald City Appliance Repair online through a Google search and decided to try them when a major service repair company told me they wouldn't be able to come out for almost a week. The technician came out the next day and quickly identified the problems with both appliances. I highly recommend Emerald City Appliance Repair's service - the company was polite, professional and very knowledgeable. There were several possible causes for the issue with my washer, and when the first fix didn't work, the technician did not charge me to come out again and he did not charge me for any labor when he replaced the parts (he only charged me for the parts). I will not hesitate to call them next time I have a problem with an appliance. more
