I travel frequently on business and am not there immediately after the cleaner leaves. After traveling for two weeks, I noticed multiple deep scratches in my ceramic cooktop. When I first called Elk Grove Cleaning and informed them, they did not return my call. When I pressed the issue, I was told that the cleaner (Cathy White) did notice the scratches a couple of weeks ago. However, the cleaner did not notify either Elk Grove Cleaning, her employer, or me, the customer. I was provided paperwork when I first engaged this cleaning agency indicating they have insurance. When I indicated I wanted to file a claim for the stove, I was told the insurance was for theft only.
If the cleaner really did notice the scratches why didn't she notify her employer.
