I really should weigh more than I do... I love food -- cooking as well as eating! I took a group of kids a little while back to Elegant Gourmet. Most people probably have no idea what they do, but if you've ever had some sweets from Starbucks, Nordstrom, Harry & David, Williams Sonoma and others, you've had their products. They're located very close to Château St. Michelle in Woodinville and they have factory tours on Fridays. Tours are by appointment only, and they fill up fast. The tour is free, and you get a basic overview of their candy making process. They also make these incredible cookies called Hannah's Delights -- they come in various flavors but I like the lemon ones the best. You can buy a small tin for $7 or $8 but here's the beauty -- they frequently have these available at the factory store (same place) for a couple of bucks! Their store is open every day except for Sunday. Now, they may not have the packaging, but they taste the same! They were making candy canes with a cream filling in them for Williams Sonoma when we took the tour. Yes, their sweets are a little expensive, but they taste great and are a quality product.
