Good: the pork that is it! The chicken is sooo bland it tastes like boiled chicken that has been shredded. My family raves about this place and we went. I think once you have had REAL AUTHENTIC mexican food, it makes this place taste bad. And the prices have gone up tremendously. Nachitos especiales which are just tortilla chips with a spoon of ref beans, some cheese, a lil guac, sourcream and hot carrots and peppers like $12 for 10 of them are you serious??? i can make them myself with a whole bag of chips. Bad: The atmosphere, the birds all over, looks so tacky not authentic...the food was not good, the chicken horrible, beef no taste, and you can't get steak tacos, WHAT MEXICAN REST Doesn't offer steak tacos with the cilantro and lime. & Cebollos This is americanized mexican food. The drinks...poor, my pina tasted like mix. Easy recipe for pinas-pineapple juice, cream of coconut in can rum, mix to taste.too expensive for everything. Prices for chips and pico large used to be $6 now it is $11. they are crazy.. Improvements: New decor. has had the same tables and booths since i was a kid. and new recipes for chicken and beef. prices need to be lowered. for five of us to eat with no alcoholic drinks it was over $100 that is crazy. i didn't want to even give it one star. gross! all around. Other: I went there in highschool. didn't like it then don't like it now. I'll never forget when i was there one time and the owner, ray garcia, had a plate in his hand and there was a big clump of hair on the plate. i saw it..and he said...how did that get in there and got mad and walked away. His attitude and his demeanor is fake. All he cares about is making money!! don't go, not good, PLEASE DON"T ORDER THE CHICKEN..and bring a lot of cash for the bill. Wait til you see the nachitos especialles for $12.
