I booked an appointment at El Haijj for an eyebrow wax and bikini wax, based upon a friend's recomendation (I'm new to the area). I got there about 10 minutes early to check in. My appointment time comes and goes and I'm still waiting. About 15 minutes after my appointment time, I'm still waiting and the lady who has the appointment after mine checks in. This is not good. When I asked the receptionist what was going on, she said things were backed up and she would check. Another 10 minutes goes by and I'm still waiting! I again asked the receptionist what the issue was-she said they were really backed up, and she would check, and it should be just a few minutes. I inquired as to whether or not someone else was availible to preform the waxing services, and was told, yes there was-in 2 hours. Hmmm, no can do, I have another appointment after this one. About 5 minutes later the lady comes out to do my brows, which is about all I have time for at this point. She led me back and explained that they were really backed up today (no kidding) because people would get there and add stuff on to their services. Maybe it's because I'm from a big city and have crazy ideas about timely services, but it isn't supposed to work that way. You want to add on a massage to your haircut? Well, you should have booked it that way when you originally made the appointment. It's totally unprofessional to allow this to happen when there are customers waiting for their services.
