Burritos as big as your head! 6/6/2006

Living in the Mission District, there's one thing you can count on: good burritos! I always hit up El Metate when I have a craving for Mexican food. It's a tiny place, but you can always take it to go. It's also cheap and the portions are quite hearty. more

Could be one of the cleanest Taquerias in the Mission. As such, people think it's worth the extra money and call this place their favorite. But let's be honest – what's up with those chips? They're multicolored (cool) but have the strangest consistency and crunch. Are they even made out of corn? I can't understand that people like these chips. Or the food for that matter. It's not bad, but not that great. I've eaten there a bunch. Maybe I just haven't ordered the right thing. Sigh. more
