I first took my van and saved $300 vs dealer estimate. Two months later, my radiator had to be replaced on my other car. I went back to E.F.I. and paid $400 parts and labor (new radiator). Was happy!
A week later my check engine light turned on so I went back to them and was charged over $900 of which parts was $179. I'm no mechanic but I know that it doesn't take 10 hours to replace alternator, air filter, spark plugs, and reset PMI.
Need less to say, I will never go back to them and I would not recommend them to anyone at all. If you dare, get a written estimate that clearly spells out parts, labor, and estimated time for repair.
Very disappointed that they would not negotiate on the $800 labor charge and now there's a strange grinding sound that it didn't have before.
