We've been with Educational Playcare a couple of months and granted they just opened in January and we started sometime in February. Initially, we were at a daycare and they were the same amount of money that Educational Playcare but I felt like it was a glorified babysitting agency and they kind of promised things that they didn't actually do, like taking pictures or putting the schedule on the wall so that we could look to see what was going on, but I never saw that actually happening.
I didn't feel at all like he was getting an education experience and their brains are such sponges at this age, I want to make sure that he gets the best experience possible. We didn't need him to go to daycare, we have two adults at home so we don't need it, but I sent him for socialization and I was hoping, also for education. They did not provide lunch there, which they do here and it wasn't a big deal but it's a nice bonus.
I started looking for places and the fact that there were opening just down the road from us was like a blessing really. It was exactly what I was looking for! So, I went to see it and it was so new clean and really it was just awesome. And then the teachers and everything that they do over there, it really is awesome.
I show everyone at work, it's very cool! My sister says she wishes they had this when her kids were younger. I love the teachers, the place, the station and the program and there are so many pictures and the daily logs, all around, it's just awesome.
And I am so so pleased.
