Edie just catered my parents party and I couldn't be more thrilled with her service. Her food was amazing!!! Truth be told we were fighting over the leftover chicken marsala & pork that we brought home. Her catering services went well beyond my expectations. Edie helped me organize the party and gave me such valuable insight. She took care of the linens and all the desserts (using Maria's bakery) and saved me a ton of money and time. She is a true pro! She loves what she does and it shows! She kept telling me that she wanted ME to have a great time at the party because she would have everything under control. AND she did! She has a great staff that was extremly helpful and polite. The event was a huge success and I could NOT have pulled it off without Edie and her staff! Great food, great staff! Edie is the only caterer for me! more

Edie catered my wedding just two weeks ago in Folsom, PA. Everything about her food and catering services are over and above! Being in contact with Edie was an absolute joy as she is both professional and extremely friendly. She really knows what she is doing and how to do things well as she has been in this business for over thirty years. Her food was absolutely delicious! Unlike most weddings that I have been to where food is way overpriced and either not very good or just so-so, Edie's food is amazingly good and affordable. Before I found out about Edie?s Catering, I did much research to find affordable caterers as my budget is very small and became very discouraged as there just did not seem to be any. I found many over-priced caterers that didn?t seem to offer very much. When I had about given up, I ran into a girl at a local hair salon who had recently been at a friend?s wedding where Edie had catered and she very highly recommended her. So I decided to give Edie a call and was pleasantly surprised and relieved that I had found a wonderful caterer that we could afford! I had many compliments on how good the food was. The food not only tasted great but was displayed beautifully! I love that she has so many options to choose from and that most of the selections are food that everyone loves. Along with great food there was also great and friendly service. Her employers did a wonderful job and made sure that everything went super smoothly at the wedding. They lit all of the candles right before people arrived at the reception, cut the cake, and had the lighting perfectly, and made sure that things went smoothly at the buffet line. Another great detail that Edie supplies are linens! She had me pick out the colors I wanted and took care of the rest! Edie is such a special individual that is passionate about what she does and was willing to help us in any way that she was able to, taking very good care of my mother and I. Because she has been in the business for awhile, she is very resourceful and was able to point us to other people that would help us make this day very special and beautiful. One person she directed us to is her daughter-in-law Nancy who helped me by offering her service of putting together stunningly beautiful centerpieces which were greatly admired by all of my guests! If you decide to go with Edie?s Catering, you will not be disappointed!! more

My mom, Edie, refused to comment on your review, stating that ""Everybody that knows me will never believe the lies"" but I couldn't let it go. First of all, do NOT insult my mother by calling her a ""reheater"". In 22 yrs of business, she has NEVER reheated food for a party. The food is homemade for each party w/ the best ingred. & all leftovers go to the cust. I know the kind of woman my mom is b/c I worked for her for 16 yrs. My mom knew who wrote this review b/c you called her w/ accusations of many wrongdoings .ALL were FALSE & she proved that to you. I won't stoop to your level & give examples but I will say this..It's so ironic to me that my mom has catered parties up to 1000 people & has only received praise, yet a party of 25 people (such as yours)had many complaints .She is a honest, hardworking Christian woman & works very hard at making each party a success! Thank you to the other review that also rebutted the not-so-nice review. Edie's catering has been in business for 22 years for a reason. Please don't let this review have any impact on your decision for catering services. If you call my mom, you'll fall in love with her. Thank you! I wanted to counter the first review by posting a few comment reviews I have found on Yahoo about Edie's Catering. Please search Goodle or Yahoo for this site. Note that the same person has also written her a poor review there but more have written very good reviews. Pros: HOME MADE FOOD!!!! more

This caterer was brought to my attention by many good recommendations. All were based on having the food delivered and NOT using the ""services"" Edie's has to offer. I booked this caterer expecting top of the line service and food. I was not impressed with anything she had to offer. She was late the day of the event, setting up the tables as the guests arrive. She is full of promises and does NOT deliver one of them! She is hard to get a hold of, and gives a lot of bad information. She over charges for her services and food, that is just heated up. She is not a cook ? she is a re-heat caterer! If you can get past the fast that she is just a re-heater, the food is good, but that?s about all that is worth it, and honestly what she charges for that, you could do cheaper yourself.
